I think what Donk is trying to say is that why would you read a Dan Brown book when you can do something much more worthwhile with your time.

I just came in here to troll, I mean, add my tuppence worth.

His novels are utter dross. I would go as far as saying I have never read anything as banal, juvenile and badly written as the writings of Dan Brown.

However, I still read them. Reading them is akin to sticking your finger up your arse when having a wank. You enjoy it at the time but you feel really ashamed and dirty afterwards so I have been told :shifty: :fp:

If he did both at the same time I'd have the upmost respect for him.

Just hope the good guy/guy you're supposed to least expect isn't the bad guy AGAIN. A different twist would make a nice change!

Now, I don't get this. I bought a Wii and I've had plenty of enjoyment out of. Because of this I'm an idiot?

I don't understand why some of you on here think it's a bad thing for people to be entertained by things. It's almost as if you take offense that there are people out there who like things that you don't. Are you a bunch of joyless snobs or are you just stupid?

Obviously the only people who enjoy his books are the people who do not read. I have hardly read any books, ever... Not entirely sure why.

I read a bit of The Da Vinci Code once and found it completely unpalatable. The writing is absolutely appalling. I know this sounds like hyperbole but it might actually be the worst-written book I've ever read. It's strawberry floating shocking.

I have a habit of reading the same few books over and over. Mainly because I love Douglas Adams that much, but also because I'm too tight to buy any more. I do visit the library on occasion, but I tend to end up sticking to non-fiction there.

Actually, there is one saving grace to anything by Dan Brown.

It's not anything from the Twilight series.
