So, here it is welcome to the seventh ever Games Guru Competition! It makes me very proud that for the first time, I can bring the competition here to our new home here on GRCade. Its been 15 months since the doors of the Games Guru Competition have been open. In this time faces have come and gone, and now its time to find a new champion of the General Games Chitter Chatter area - a new Games Guru!
As you should know, in 2008 Parksey became the latest GGGC Games Guru, the first moderator ever to win. He won it with a real show of consitency. This year, 20 new contenders including our reigning Guru shall attempt to emulate that feat.
For those of you not in the know, The Games Guru Competition is a knockout competition that centres around one thing only, our love of videogames. A number of tasks have been laid out for our 'superstars', at the end of everyone of which we shall see competitors eliminated At the end one will stand tall, the new 'Games Guru 2009'.
And thats it. It really is as simple as that!
So lets get proceedings kicked off, I am about to officially announce the full line up for the 'GRCade Games Guru Competition 2009: Get Into The Game!'
9 Veterans, 11 Rookies, a lot of fun! Lets get this show on the road!
