*the lights dim, the audience grows quiet, all of Rare's best have shown up to the awards, Juno places a food bowl down for Lupus to take a nipple, Leafos quietens the herd of pinata in the corner, Starfox straightens his bow tie as Krystal holds his arm whilst a bearded Sabre casts an off kilter glare at him, Joanna is suddenly in her seat before anyone noticed and Daniel Carrington is almost blind drunk.

The band kicks off.

*Donkey Kong can be seen whispering something to his accompanying, extended family. Something to do with a rap, Diddy quietens him down as LOG glides majestically onto the stage*

Well, after that juvenile display of instrumental 'playing' I believe we are ready to celebrate my well orchestrated events of the last twelve weeks.

After my game was received with lukewarm appreciation I knew something had to be done so I took upon my glorious self to direct a competition, and where better than the hotbed of gaming endeavor, opinion, and appreciation that was NeoGaf.

Unfortunately I was laughed out of there, told the company I've started to keep had lost it.

Knowing this was not the truth I found the second best place, GRcarade, and started my mission.

There have been lives lost, yes, but there are also champions! And everyone knows that champions make the world go round. However, before giving out the true accolades I have been informed that we must sit through an unentertaining series of 'awards' presented by the cast of my wonderful game. In all honesty I hoped they were merely window dressing, there's certainly asking for far more than they're worth at this gig.

Anyway, let's get this over with quickly, the first diversion is being presented by that annoying little shaman, Mumbo Jumbo.

I think Carrington has raided the winner's champagne. Prick.

Ah yes, my award. I almost forgot I had to present this. Would it not have made sense for me to give it out first? Second award and this is a complete shambles...

Anyway, I'll get my fabulous award out the way as quickly as possible.

My award is presented to the player who performed the best with my wonderful selection of infallable vehicles over the course of the competition, the player without whom I'd have given up hope for the gaming public of today long ago. A name which I have registered to memory.
