Just got back from the game, that ref was awful. Potentially 13 points they shouldn't have had. Good game though from what I understood of it.

Anyone notice that the majority of the South African crowd were white, whereas in the Federations cup, they're black? :shifty:

At the Feds cup, you were able to pay for tickets on the drip over the last 6 months or so. 6 months is just enough to save up the £8.00 apparently.

Yeah. Rugby here's more of a white sport and football a black one. That's why I think they might have banned the vuvuzela's from rugby because white South Africans who are in to their rugby are generally dicks. Sort of like football hooligans in the UK but not as violent.

The injuries to the front row on both sides made this match a toss up.

I'm gutted that the Irish lads played so well but then "Cowabunga" O gara came on and thought he'd juggernaut his way into the history books.

Didnt realise I started the rugby thread :shifty: woops should have updated it.
Dirty South Africans; eye gouging is a disgrace and Schalk Burger should get a kicking next time he plays a Home nation.
Lions dont deserve to be 2 - 0 down, hopefyully we can claw a test match back but I doubt it with all the injuries.

Its pretty depressing that De Villiers came out with his Tutus statement after Burger had been banned. He has apologised now but its too little too late.

Back to the rugby season this week, just about to watch Llanelli Scarlets vs Leinster (Champions of Europe don't you know!)

C'MON LEINSTER!

http://s4c.co.uk/clic/e_index.shtml - Click watch S4C Live if you want to watch. Annoyingly only in Welsh though.

Great start to the season from Glasgow, I couldn't be there this time obviously, but by the reports I've read we absolutely mauled them. Great attendance too with nearly 4000 at Firhill. Edinburgh should have won by a much greater margin against Blues, but 3 points is 3 points.

A very good start to the season, considering we have play-offs this year!
