They really are a pretty average group as far as their field goes, not bad live but ultimately I just don't like them. For some reason over the last couple of years they've grown in popularity despite remaining an increasingly average group.

Slipknot just pulled out of Leeds/Reading.

:(

I was looking forward to watching them on TV, to see their new songs.

That would be the most crowd-pleasing option one would think.

Bit of a bummer that though: I'm not a huge Slipknot fan, but I was looking forward to seeing them.

Snap.

If they put Pendulum on the main-stage or give Tenacious D extra time I'll riot.

Last minute replacement or extra Metallica please.

On the same token, so is 155. Or indeed, any amount over 100. So Stahp whining. Not like you've been bumfucked out of £200 and the chance to see a band you idolise above any other, is it?

I was a bit gutted when I found out TTB was supporting. They're a bit too generic for my liking.

Never mind, should still be an awesome night.

Am not a fan of slipknot but know a lot of people who are. Am made up as everyone will go and see pendulum now with me :)

Anyone got a link to a printable time sheet of the line up (one with specific times on)?

Not gonna buy one there, their too expensive.

Hopefully they find a shite replacement so I can still go to see Pendulum, otherwise they're going to clash with Feeder or The D and they lose on both counts there.

I could have sworn I already posted this but...

Wouldn't Feeder or Tenacious D be the shite replacements? (because they're shite, lol)

I'll probably go and see Pendulum now anyway so it's not too bad and I'll definitely go and see Slipknot later this year.

Is there going to be a GR meet up at all?

That's what I wanted to know three pages ago.

My Human Gets Me Blues wrote:Reading Festival. Who else is going? Let's swap numbers so we can sort out where to meet up for a drink/smoke/shag whenever.

I have Joer's number, although I'm not sure if he'll have his phone in Reading... I'll check.

Me on Page 4 8-)

John Galt wrote:If there any plan for a Reading meet? I'd be up for it if others are but we'd probably need mobile numbers as I know I won't be sober enough to turn up for a pre-arrange meeting at a place I almost certainly won't be able to find.

..but yeah, I'll need to know before I turn off my PC tonight at about 11. Are you Aneurin/GTFOMMTYSOAB/Lesbians are Great?
