In an ideal world, none of it. It should be put into reducing the obscene amount of debt Manchester United are run at.

Of course it won't be though. :|

It seriously weakens the team. However annoying he could be, he was always fit and his all round game is pretty special. I do not think we were getting the best out of him last year, but even then he was top scorer by some distance. Plus he is probably going to get better over the next few years.

We now need to buy top quality, so here's hoping £25.6m doesn't get wasted on Tevez.

Anyway, I guess we have been here before with Fergie and he comes through.

Madrid should have thrown in a player as well as the cash.

£80m is a fair price

But Man United have always had arrogant pricks playing for them.

What's funny is that you've just lost a player that creates and scores almost two-thirds of your goals for the last 2 seasons

Isn't the current highest bidder offering two Curly Wurlys? I propose GRcade buys over the club by offering up a packet of Space Raiders - and renames them "Newcastle Knights" with St James Park retitled "Fortress Geordie".

Who's in?

I think Tevez can bring what Ronaldo primarily bought: being good against weak sides. Play him often enough and I think he'd start making more of an impact, not in the goals department maybe, but overall he would be beneficial to the team. And you're still left with a substantial amount to spend on an out and out striker. And maybe a workhorse midfielder.

Yup, and it's not like they've ever sold their best players before either...

I'll buy them and re-brand them GRcade United and change the name of their stadium to GRcade Park. I'll also change the black and white stripes to something that makes the GRcade logo on the front of the shirts stand out more.

I would also employ Tubes from Soccer AM as the manager.

I agree with what they were saying on Sky Sports. We should have found someone before selling him, now every club knows how much money we have to spend so any player we look at will go up in price!

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S7, Dexter S2
RACE | Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)

Real

Real aren't interested in Masch, Barca are and Rafa said that he's not for sale at any price and he has 4years left on his contract. We'd be asking for at least 45m!

Weren't Kaka and Ronaldo not for sale though?

Not really, when AC Milan more or less accepted a bid in January from Manchester City and then admitted they might have to sell Kaka for financial reasons.

Ronaldo, well it was known he wanted to move from last summer, and when a player wants to move there's little the club can do. Especially when he then criticises the manager's tactics after losing the Champions League Final.

None of these have occurred with Liverpool or Mascherano (or Alonso) this season.

Ronaldo is in a different league of players United have lost previously. Cantona retired when he knew the only way he was going to go from then on was down, Ince was replaced by a teenager (not missed), Beckham wasn't missed, Kanchelskis wasn't missed, I could go on.

Ronaldo scored a stupid amount of goals and I struggle to see how United are going to replace him. Replacing someone that scored 15-20 goals a season is near impossible, but to replace someone that scored 25-30+ and creates at least the same amount as he scores? Totally impossible.

Anyway, enough about that arrogant, smug banana split.

England played well last night, I thought Glen Johnson had a stormer, Walcott played 100% better then he did on Saturday and Beckham, can't take it away from the lad, pinging crosses and passes around, like he's still in the Premiership, just don't let him take anymore corners, he can't get the ball past the first man! It was kinda odd taking Rooney off, I'd have let him get his hat-trick (let's face it, he would have!)

One foot on the plane! 8-)
