I know it sounds daft but I'm not sure how Madrid are going to make these players work together.
The balance seems a bit wrong - they are the type of player that wants the ball all of the time and signing Ronaldo could be a problem in the dressing room - they HAVE to get rid of Robben now and the majority of the Dutch players now.

David Villa will join by next week, too.

As much as I think this spending spree may end up like the Galacticos team of the beginning of this decade in terms of being unbalanced and full of too many huge egos to be workable, it certainly is an interesting development in terms of European football as for a good while now the English sides have been dominant in terms of transfers and finances, and so this should shake things up a bit and hopefully make things a bit more interesting.

Can you imagine being Pellegrini right now though? It must be like messing around with the data editor in Football Manager and assembling a world select team without any thought for the finances behind the transfers.

I am genuinely pleased that I no longer have to support a team that has that arrogant prick wearing our shirt! No doubt we will be worse off without him ... to be honest though I would rather watch 11 players who care about wearing the shirt then him trotting around the place like he owns it and playing up to the cameras!

£80m is a fair price

All the ****ing best to him at Real. Have to thank him for the last three seasons and hope every signing comes good as he did. I just wish for less divisive player(s) to replace him... but if in the end they're as influential as Ronaldo has been to the success of the club? strawberry float it, piss off whoever you have to. :lol:
