Romano's just an aggregator who rewords stuff actual journos say, rather than doing much in the way of breaking news himself. It was also reported a few months back that he'll take money to lie and link players elsewhere on behalf of agents and clubs, so I'm not a fan personally.
That's the sort of thing I heard.

Can I take a moment to laugh at Emma Hayes or would that be male aggression?

Wrexham beat Title winners Stockport in a last gasp victory to claim second spot over Mansfield. Thats nice :)

I'm not following my other team until next year now to avoid the frustration. But 3rd place and a League cup isn't too bad compared to last season, could have been so much more though.

Said it last week and the week before - those marginal offside goals should probably stand if you want a positive and exciting sport not ruined by endless navel gazing. But currently they don't and I'm very grateful right now!

Hopefully the semi-automated offsides help with that next season.

Chelsea moaning about it after a clear foul on the Villa player doesn't help.

Spuds are a joke. Hopefully they'll roll over against City too like they are today.

Got one back, come back is on :toot:

In all seriousness, we need to have a dedicated set piece coach. It's ridiculous that Ange refuses to have one and says that he never has one. Most of our conceded goals this season have come from set pieces. We can't go on dominating possession and then just letting corners/free kicks in every week. We also aren't clinical in front of goal. It's almost like we sold our best ever striker and didn't replace him.

That spurs penalty is a prime example of how VAR has destroyed referees decision making ability. Oliver appeared scared to make a decision there, he looked straight at the foul from a few feet away and just left the decision to VAR.

Ooof! Disappointing but at least it wasn't a drubbing which I thought it was going to be.

Consistently the best fixture in the league. My blood pressure is 143/95 and I don't know when it'll come down :dread:

Self-implosions can happen at any time, but after Raya dropped his bollock he was commanding. After we conceded that penalty we didn't panic. That was great to see - we would've drawn or lost that last season.

With regards to the penalty - yeah, you can see why it's given. But if we moan about handballs and say "well they'll just start trying to hit the defender's hand to win a penalty!", surely if you see a player winding up to clear it so you nick the ball off them and throw yourself into the kick then that's the same thing? I suppose it's a free kick on the halfway line so it should be a pen, but I don't see what Rice could've done differently so I feel sympathy for him. Also, will a player ever get sent off for violent conduct against an Arsenal player again? To be fair I was actually not wanting any suspensions so you're at full strength to play your very very best against City, which I'm sure you'll do...

Brighton's goal of the month for April goes to Muric at Burnley for his own goal.

De Zerbi too busy trying to get his next job?

What an embarrassing chant to sing at Saka. Didn't Chelsea fans do it recently as well?
