Joey Barton on twitter again

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton
Just received my weekly warning letter from FA headquarters, this time regarding me tweeting about predicting the weekends Manchester double

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton
According to the FA, I am not allowed to give my opinion of possible results in case that is seen as insider information. These people are

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton
So out of touch with reality its untrue. What difference does my opinion of the outcome of a match, have on the result? None. #rightinthebin

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton
The strange thing is they have probably sent me 30 letters since I started tweeting. That's 30 pieces of paper wasted....stop sending please

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton
I'll prob get a letter about the last few tweets. Thats how ridiculous its become.Drastic shake up needed to move the game into 21st century

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton
Hopefully they stop trying to be an Orwellian organisation and get to grips with the change that's happening in the world around them.

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton
Don't understand how they can try to police a technology they understand very little about.

Joey7Barton Joseph Barton
If I get another letter, I might have to consider retiring from international football in protest.........

I don't want to watch Arsenal live for a bit, so I'm not going to. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

That's your decision, but that being the case, you're in no position to mock other football fans, the kind that support their team through thick and thin.

About the only game we've won where we were lucky to was the Spurs game. So we can point to poor officiating as the reason we're not still in the FA Cup and Carling Cup and why we're not further ahead in the Premier League.

Debatable Website, more like. (And anyway, we'd have more points by their reckoning and zero defeats.)

Fin

 Norrarsed, Going to Wembley. U jelly? I still have the utmost faith in all of the players, Downing was terrific last night only thing to let him down was finishing. He made all the right movements and im happy with that. Big Andy came on in the last few minutes and caused the defenders trouble, why else was there 2 on him when ever he got near the ball? Andy will come good, im happy to wait on him. we're starting to have a fantastic squad * when we decide to turn up * Some cracking youth prospects are starting to come through the ranks. As i said, im perfectly happy with the direction we're heading.

Reminds me of 2004/2005 Mickey Owen leaves and i was devastated, the next season we go on to win the Champions league. Roll on a few years, Nando leaves us, very next season, Final GET!

It just annoys me that we come out for the big games, if we did this against the smaller teams we'd be well up there. Liverpool have a good squad.

All your forwards, and every other teams best midfielders. And you're light? :| :fp:

That's what I mean, Forwards and Midfielders we are okay for (maybe another striker when Tevez strawberry floats off) but it's central defence that needs looking at. Savic has the makings of a good centre half but he's naive. They're arent many options there at the moment, which has been shown up with Vinnie K out and Kolo Toure off in Africa.

Relying on forwards and midfielders might work at Villa but it clearly doesn't at City.

wait a sec city have toure, kompany, savic, lescott and i would say richards as well who can play there. Maybe city should think about using youth players and reserves who could step up, its not always about the first 11 it's a squad game.

I did say squad, not team.

then central defence should be fine

You said Villa will be going to Wembley so I posted the most probable scenario of Villa going to Wembley in the forseeable future unless McLeish decides to take the team on a day trip there in the next few months. :P

2-2 in the end between Sudan and Angola with Sudan equalising both times.

Code: Select all

Angola   2    1    1    0    4    3    4
Ivory C   1    1    0    0    1    0    3
Sudan   2    0    1    1    2    3    1
Burkina F   1    0    0    1    1    2    0

Makes for an interesting scenario as Ivory Coast need to win to qualify and even then they'll be battling it out with Angola to see who finishes top. Unless both teams decide to play for a draw then it leaves the way open for Sudan to go all out versus Burkina Faso and hope Ivory Coast beat Angola.

I don't think the gap is as big as you have suggested between top six and top twelve, and you spent more money.

City were in chaos before the takeover both on (losing the final game of the previous season 8-1) and off (former chairman paying wages out of his own pocket) the pitch, so it wasn't that simple. But that's gone now.

8-1
Who against?
I bet whoever it was had a decent player like downing in their team
