To be fair Arshavin is a terrible player now. Nothing like the Arshavin that joint Arsenal originally.

Djourou needs to be dumped back to 4th choice CB. Yennaris made a few rookie mistakes, but was much more effective.

The sub decision was terrible - even if he wanted to bring The Ox off, why not bring on Benayoun? He's literally more effective in every department than Arshavin.

So 4th seems tough now, but not impossible. Another way to get back in to the CL- win it this year! :shifty:

Realistic plan - go all out for the FA Cup. City are already out, soon to be followed by either United or Pool. An actual trophy would help make up for finishing outside the top 4.

Hope you get 4th. Still think its possible. Got to just close the gaps to a few points before you face Chelsea at Emirates. Gibbs seems to be worse than the Da Silva twins in terms of staying fit. So weird that Wenger hasn't signed another fullback yet.

He's not even played in his right position. His best time at Arsenal was when he was down the middle. He's not a winger.

To be fair though I'd love to kick Scotty Parker in the face too. So respect to Balo, he's living the dream.

I don't even think the Balotelli stamp was intentional.

He was trying to get his footing back as he fell, and their was no way he knew where Parker's head was.

There's no way you would do it with that much force though, it's utterly appalling to look at.

I agree that he probably wasn't trying to stamp on Parker's head.
He was just trying to stamp on any part of him.

Cheers.

As I was watching I thought Ah, okay, he seems to have tripped on the player. Not as bad as I heard it was and then you see his leg shoot back like it does. :fp:

Gotta love his faux I don't know whom to believe!!1 But I guess it makes sense for the player's agent to have fed him the story.
