Haha. Looks like it just bounced off him and went in. The flicks and tricks are going to happen more often now.

Johnson?

He should be given no.2 if Juve sign Dossena. :P

It's a bit premature to have that option via the official club site, unless they know the deal is pretty much done.

Also Hyypia is no longer there so his name shouldn't be in that list. :shifty:

Be funny if another 'Chelsea/Robinho' situation arised.....but I don't think it will.

:(

Gutted Johnson has gone, it was inevitable considering our deal is taking forever to sort out with Al Fahim, but I'm getting worried that we're losing all our strong players before we even start...Johnson and Davis seemingly gone - its gonna cost a bit just to replace those two, never mind everything else....

The commentator's enjoying this. Just said 'bafana bafana' out of nowhere.

The world cup is gonna be a strawberry floating nightmare to watch.

Apparently Blatter's going to make a decision on them after complaints from numerous tv stations. Can't see them being allowed at the World Cup to be honest.

Don't see why they shouldn't be allowed. Just as much a part of the game as chants are in England and whistling in Spain.

They said that on some stations the commentary couldn't be heard over them, i think that's the main complaint. They're already banned from rugby games.

Rugby's not really a 'loud' sport anyway here. I can hear this commentator fine. They should speak up a bit or turn up the volume of the microphone and dim the sound receivers a bit.

Chanting isn't annoying, though. Not half as loud, either. And it doesn't go on constantly for the entire duration of the game with no let up! Those horns are akin to sitting at home watching a game with a beehive over your head. I strawberry floating hope they are banned from the world cup.

Must just be me then. I can block them out pretty much and just listen to what the commentator is saying. I think I'm going to the US-Brazil game tomorrow so I'll let you know if it's as bad in real life as it is through the TV. They shouldn't be banned though as they have been a part of SA football for a long time. The whistling in Spain is annoying but no one is asking for that to be banned.

Those who aren't happy with something are always going to be more vocal though. Either way, FIFA knew what they were in for when giving SA the WC so I don't see why they should change anything that's part and parcel of African football.

Because it's the TV audience that'll be mostly footing the bill for the whole shebang.
