United to only sign players who are under 26. Big transfers must still have resale value at the end of their contracts.

As long as it doesn't rule out all players over that age range. But if a player does cost a bomb, is over 26 but has a hand in winning a load of trophies... should the sell on price matter? I hope we sign someone akin to Sheringham, you know, someone who's a proven goal scorer in the league but won't cost a bomb and won't piss and moan if he isn't played every game.

Leeds v Yeovil is October 31st, Yeovil v Leeds is April 5th.

Most of the rest of the fixture lists is irrelevant.

Yeovil start at home to Tranmere, and finish the season at Brighton (Russell Slade's Bummers Army). RELEGATING THEM strawberry floats WOULD BE THE GREATEST DAY OF ALL TIMES.

Need to have a proper gander at it all later though and work out which Leeds games I'll deffo get to this season.

After my initial joke comment about Ferguson signing Owen, I have decided its actually a sensible idea. If we look at what he did with old Henrik who was pretty much retired, you have to think he can probably get Owen scoring again. He is free, he wont cost much and give him the chance to play Champions League football in the North and he will snap your arm off. It has to be worth a gamble.

Tottenham away is a tough enough start to the season, it'll be a bit wierd to see Liverpool start their season on a Sunday as well.

If the title is close again this year, with the same top 3, there are a few fixtures that stand out towards the business end of the season.

March 20th Man U v Liverpool
April 3rd Man U v Chelsea

and on the penultimate weekend:

May 1st Liverpool v Chelsea

Arsenal's last game against the top 3 is on Feb 9th, although the play Villa away, Man U at home, Chelsea away and Liverpool at home in a somewhat tricky four game spell to get to that date.
