Yeah same here, I've always been on and off with my revision. Just try and avoid distractions (not easy I know :shifty:) and think about what would be better in the long run. I tend to do what I'd prefer in the short run, not thinking what'll happen overall, so it's a feeling I know all too well. I always find going through a past paper helps, as once I start one I generally feel I need to finish it out of principle. Maybe that'll help for you also :)

My exams are alright, after half term, I've got three exams in the first week (these are resits), then 5 and 8 in the following weeks. I need to do a fair bit of revision over the half term, anyway.

I'm after AAA in the summer, so I can get a scholarship.

Doing my A2's as well, i need BBB to get into Leicester, but if i get ABB i get £1,000 scholarship. Only problem is that because of the Uni's i chose as my 5, and that Leicester gave me and offer lower than i was expecting (was expecting ABB) my 2nd choice Uni has higher entry grades, so if i don't get BBB i'm pretty screwed.

But a positive is that my grades in AS are ABB and i think my revision is going well at the moment, just got to get through this half term without getting too distracted. Even though it is my birthday next week

Micro exam in the morning, an I'm currently feeling so nervous I feel a bit sick. I hope I've done the right thing by focusing on just one part of the course and thus limiting myself to having to answer all the questions on that topic and not being able to choose any of the others.

Finished all my AS' last week. Film went well, business is a not sure and music could go either way. I'm now dropping out though. Going to get a job and make some money for fuel.

You seem rather hopeful on getting a job, they're hardly giving them away at the moment.

And giving up education to fund a car...wut.

Empire, War and Diplomacy module - not as interesting as it sounds. I hate the ancient Greeks. The exam is in a few hours. Didn't sleep, but didn't revise either - instead watched hours and hours of Grey's Anatomy and ate cheese. Screwed now.

Good luck there Red. I guess you'll need it.

I have a human Rights Law exam on Thursday and I'm considering not doing it, tbh.

I have a 'Computer Architecture' Exam tomorrow which I've been revising for yesterday and today. Then on thursday I have a 'Theory of Computation' exam which I haven't started revising for yet and then on Friday a Maths exam which I also haven't revised for yet :fp:
I'll be surprised if I pass any of these exams TBH.

Karlprof wrote:Had my GCSE Biology Module 3 exam today. Thought it was manageable; a few of the later questions on urine levels under ecstacy were a bit oof, but apart from that, manageable. Had GCSE English Lit yesterday. To Kill a Mockingbird and Hobson's Choice both had gifts for questions, in my opinion. The poem was a bit harder to get into but I thought I gave it a decent shot. Just got GCSE German (Listening) to do on Friday then I've got a week off! Hooray.

How're the other GCSE guys here finding it?

I take it you revised for Biology, then?
Pretty much every question - including the ones on ecstasy and homeostasis - in unit 3 I guessed on

English Literature was a cakewalk though - I did two pretty much identical questions on The Pieces of Silver / Games at Twilight and Lamentations / The Hero. First week back I have an exam every day - Thursday and Friday are the ones I'm dreading. Chemistry Unit 2 resit and unit 3 (I'm going to fail them both, including unit 2 for a second time) and Additional Mathematics on Friday which I just don't understand.

On the plus side, A* in ICT GET!

I certainly did *weeps gently* 3 hours of ancient Greek diplomacy. I want to hurt myself.

But I can't! Tomorrow is Roman Social History in the Late Republic/Early Empire.

Oh dear. Well, guesses are better than nothing - you must know a little bit to be able to write something - think of it that way and it's not so bad :)

And yeah, I revise as much as I can bear - it's soul-crushing though!

Do keep up.

I have Later Medieval History and then Early Medieval History at the end of the week, both of which are horrible modules, though when they're done I only have one exam left for the week after and my second year of uni will be done \0/

I somehow got a B in that at GCSE, despite our teacher being off injured for 6 months due to cruciate ligament damage and having no replacement, as it's a specialised subject, thankfully it was 60% coursework which probably helped in getting a good mark.
