Went for an interview today, for a Paediatrics Nursing Assitant, in either outpatients, or post-operative care.

Good things about today
- Rush hour on the tube was non existent, I was an hour early, and felt wonderful.
- Interview went really really well. They were impressed.
- I had a lovely panini for lunch.
Bad things about today
- My feet kill.
- I didn't get the job
- I spent £30 on a train to get there
- I spent £10 on credit to hear a voicemail, telling me I hadn't got the job.

AWESOME things about today
- I got home to an email from the interview I went to last week saying I'd got the job.

I'm going to be a mini Denster! I've got the choice of 2 units, both medium secure, one small and slightly bigger and mixed. I do my top up training, managing aggressive behaviour, and restraining techniques and such. Then I'll be doing half of Dennys job with some rather interesting criminals with mental health problems. Exciting stuff!

No I won't. They don't put you in situations they know you can't handle. Also, most of the criminals aren't gunna go mad while there. Once the mental health problem (That usually affects their behaviour) is addressed, and treated, they become a lot easier to look after.
