If all my selections are correct I should win about £40. :P

You only got 40/1 on that?!

My best wins were both throwaway pound bets: a 100/1 longshot on Middlesbrough to beat Birmingham with David Wheater to score first and a 90/1 punt on a horse called Gulliver's Travels.

I win a lot betting on Boxing or the NFL, but I don't have any particularly massive wins. But for some plucky Romanians, I'd have made around £5000 on a Euro 2008 accumulator though.

Just got two wrong as it turned out. I'd have been £1500 richer if Villa and Ipswich had won. :x

Ah betting. My horrible mistress. I'm down by quite a bit this year. Which is a shame, since I have quite the skill to turn £5 into over £100 in a few days, by doing little bets and building it up. But then I get cocky and loose it all. I might start again soon but I just can't do it to my self just yet.

And I've just put £5 back into my bet365 account. I've done an accumulator and today's football (english and euro) and some inrunning accumulators on there to be at most one more goal. I find that to be a good one when there's only 15 mins left. You may not get much, but it builds up over time.

Lol! I know, but it's just the sort of bet I've cut out. There's always a story of someone winning on FGS/scoreline bet but think of all the £1 or £2's down the drain. You're having to pick the match winner, how many goals each team will score and the fgs - The odds are always way too short.

My Golf bets have been poor this week, Mahan seems to run out of steam as a tournament progresses and Poults just hasn't get the bottle to win a big 72 hole tournament at the moment. Hope Padraig wins.

Edit - Padraig :fp:

Hmm, after Wigans performance at the weekend against Villa 4/5 for them to beat Wolves at home seems decent value.

Won two out of three accumulators tonight :).

I had 50p on both of these:

(Winners)
Arsenal
FC Copenhagen
Olympiakos
Stuttgart
Middlesbrough
Luton
Oxford

and

Chelsea
Cardiff
Charlton
Leeds

I get £22.03 from the first and £7.98 from the second - woop!

This will go a little way to getting me back towards the black. A little way.

This month so far i'm up £855 with a further, possible £100 - £400 to come in depending on the free time I have.

Last month was up around £400 and the month before about the same. That's all from a combination of matched betting and blackjack bonus bagging.

Most of the money is going to pay off debt/savings but a little went towards paying for my summer holiday.

I'm on a completely different scale to this guy though:

over £50,000 in 4 years.

And some bets for the KLM Open, European Tour:

Green - 22/1
Storm - 25/1
Maybin - 28/1
Willett - 28/1

Four of the market leaders, but it's a weaker field and hopefully the run of outsider winners in this type of event will come to an end.
