The best is very difficult to choose, but there is no doubt for me Moore was the worst.

Sometimes I wish Roger Moore would come back, with an underwater car or some kind of jetpack.

The Living Daylights is awesome. Dalton is easily the best Bond.

Timothy Dalton, because he did it darker, sort of a pre- Daniel Craig Daniel Craig. DC did it well in Casino Royale, sort of got bored of it in QoS though.

Definitely Casino Royale is my favourite Bond film though, even though i don't especially like the franchise.

Yeah, definitely! He was a right moody b*stard, yet likeable at the same time. And he loved his scrambled eggs. I mean, when does Bond ever eat scrambled eggs while reading the Express in the films? Never. Pah.

Daniel Craig's has come closest to replicating the real Bond though, so (I think) he gets my vote! Brosnan was unconvincing at times, Lazenby was never convincing, Dalton lacked charisma, Connery not too bad and Moore was just amusing!

There's no need to be here any longer than necessary. Let's split up, look for survivors, and get out of here.

In 2005, I can actually remember when they announced a new Bond film was going to be Casino Royale and they decided to go back with the franchise. I was hugely disappointed with whom they've got as James Bond and it was Daniel Craig. It was cos he did not look suitable for the role and it wasn't what I expected to be honest. I for one did criticise along with some fans about him, like he can't shoot the gun or driving with a manual gear.

Mind you, I was already a big fan of Pierce Brosnan even though all of his films were not too bad, except Goldeneye. I felt he's portrayed better and suitable as James Bond. So you can understand where I followed from...

Eventually, the year of 2006, Casino Royale was released in November. On the release day, I went to the cinema on my own and determined to see what Daniel Craig could do as James Bond. Gosh! I was completely blown away with his sterling performance as James Bond and it was a way beyond better than what I did expect. Since then, I must have seen the film three times in the cinema. A few months later, it was available on the DVD and I must have seen it up to ten times now, or so.

Quantum of Solace. I did see it three times again in the cinema and still waiting patiently for the DVD, which will be release on 23rd March.

Daniel Craig, it is.

Except, you know, the underwater car was in The Spy Who Loved Me, which was filmed in 1977. And was absolutely nothing like the novel (as Fleming only sold the rights to the name).

Except, you know, Roger Moore never wore a jetpack. That was Connery in Thunderball.

Apart from those two points though, you made a sterling effort.

This is the only Bond film I own. Absolutely love it. Great song, the best Bond car so far, and the Hercules food sack mid air fight remains as far as I am concerned the best stunt that has been done in a Bond film, perhaps even in Hollywood.

This is actually really difficult. My knowledge of Bond films before Brosnan is terrible. I've seen bits of the older Bond films but not enough to make a decision. One I can remember, Bond falls in a swimming pool or something and some sharks are released. That was cool but the memory is so hazey, that's all I remember.
For me, Brosnan looses points because Die Another Die was unforgivably terrible. It wasn't entirely his fault the film was so crap though. Tempted to vote for Daniel Craig because I thought he was absolutely brilliant in Casino Royale (particularly the opening, that was amazing), but I havn't seen QoS yet. I'm going to have to watch more Bond before I can vote.
