The contestants get more cliched with every series.

To me, making money is better than sex.

"Business is the new rock 'n' roll and I'm Elvis Presley."

My CV is strong. I am articulate. I can deal with questions and make impactful statements. Many lawyers can't. People want to chat with me."

"I am the girl with a plan. I have great wit and strength of character, and I am resilient to the core."

Ladies and gentlemen, we have our winner.

Phillip Taylor
Age: 29
Career: Estate Agent
Qualifications: NEBS Certificate in Management
Lives: County Durham

Born and raised in County Durham, Phillip, who describes himself as "confident and charming", believes he can deal with people on any level. A self-confessed control freak, he is passionate about all projects he involves himself in and considers himself to be a nice guy who people can relate to. He believes that you should make friends but make money while doing it.

He says: "Business is the new rock 'n' roll and I'm Elvis Presley."

I already named him as being in the final 4.
8-)

A NEBS Certificate in Management, eh? *whistle*

I got one of them by sneaking into the function room early and putting a photo of my face on a dressed-up shop dummy, then strawberry floating off.

Like for every previous series of The Apprentice, I have no idea why I will end up watching it, nor why I will end up enjoying it.

Sir Alan Sugar is reportedly angry with two contestants who began a romance during this year's Apprentice.

According to The Sun, Sugar "went mad" when he heard that candidates Phillip Taylor, 29, and Kate Walsh, 27, had fallen for each other.

"It was pretty obvious Phillip and Kate had the hots for each other from the start," said a source. "They're both really good-looking and feisty - it was an instant attraction.

"Everyone else knew about it but when Sir Alan found out he went mad. He hates it when there's any kind of 'funny business' going on, as he calls it."

A friend of estate agent Taylor commented: "Phillip is a classic ladies' man. He's as smooth as glass with a nice North East brogue. If he hadn't got hold of Kate, he'd have pounced on one of the others."

The new series of The Apprentice begins on BBC One on Wednesday.

I'm guessing this has got something to do with Syed getting Michelle pregnant in series 2, and Katie and various contestants in series 3. It is cheating in a way, by getting involved with someone who you could manipulate / be manipulated by as seen with as Katie proved in series 3.

Mmmmm spanking in the board room.

 They're making the girls out to be gooseberry fool. But they might do the thing they did in the last series and make the gooseberry fool team win somehow.
