Ben sounds like a twunt.

James sounds one of the twunts who thinks they're "smart, clever, honest, insightful" but are general just dicks.

Actually they all sound horrid

Loved the episode with him as project manager trying to sell 'environmentally friendly' cards, he insisted on doing the pitches, he was absolutely horrid. "At 20 I had my frist house, at 25 I had my second house, at 26 I had a Porsche", wa wa wa

Good stuff, I've watched this since series 2 and it's always enjoyable. Especially when the particularly cocky contestants fall on their faces.

Rocky to win because he's called Rocky.

One of 'em has bottled it before even reaching the boardroom.

It's like he's trying to do a Keira Knightley style pout.

I missed that particular episode but I'm watching it now on youtube- yes he is. He's absolutely priceless! At first he nominates himself as being a good chef, then when he's being asked about what Italian meals to produce he's just like "Err, soup? Errr. Spaghetti.... and.... some bolognese... and... potatoes? Or chicken or something. "

Last year I loved The Apprentice so much. I was drunk on Facebook on the night of the final and added as many of the contestants as I could. I still have Simon, Raef and Michael. That Lyndi or whatever her name is goes out in revealing dresses (not that I perve at her pictures or anything mind).

Sir Alan Sugar has described broadcaster Jeremy Paxman as "unpleasant" and accused him of "cheating" in interviews.

The Apprentice boss made the comments to the Radio Times after Paxman reportedly said that the show was full of "know-alls" with "nothing to say".

Sir Alan said: "That's the pot talking to the kettle, isn't it? I mean, he's the most unpleasant person going.

"I'd like to get into a debate, without him having a day to think up questions to make people seem awkward. I'd like to see how clever he is then."

He added: "Jeremy Paxman has never interviewed me. I've never met him. But I'd like to be thrown in a room with him to debate something someone throws at us rather than him having a crib sheet hiding under the table.

"In my opinion that is cheating, honestly."

Paxman has a point.

Paxman would cane Sugar (no pun etc), whatever business acumen Suralan's got he's clearly miles behind Paxo when it comes to intellect. When Sugar came up with the idea in the last series about greetings cards along the lines of 'sorry you were stabbed by a teenage hoodie', I thought strawberry floating hell, he's as bad as some of his would-be apprentices.

That was just a reference to modern day "broken britan" not really a proper suggestion for a greeting card.

I like the both of them but Sugar also has a point to be fair. Throw Clarkson in the mix and you have my 3 favourite TV personalities.

I can't remember it word for word but the task was to come up with a theme for a greetings card, I think he was being serious when he was putting forward his 'hoodie' proposal. Maybe I'm talking out of my hat though Jigger, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

I think he was criticising the team who came up with a "Recycle! Be Green!" card as following a media trend, and that they may as well have settled with the "stabbing" one, if they were going down that road.

I think Alan was joking with the 'hoodie' card, he was trying to show how ridiculous he thought the environmentally friendly cards were by making up an example of something equally stupid.

I like them both too, but Paxman is right, some of the contestants (I'm presuming that's who he's talking about) can't accept they've made a mistake and come across as unbelievably arrogant. Like Michael in the last series, he'd sit in the boardroom and come out with things like "everything that was good about this task came from me", when all he'd done was co-produce a crap advert that barely had a product in it. Or when he kept insisting that he was a "natural born salesman" and the best salesman on the team after he failed to sell anything in the car challenge. And he wouldn't shut up about how great he thought he was.

Okay, I tried to resist but I couldn't - I just had a look on youtube. You can take a look for yourselves below, it's around the 6.20 mark, but he says 'I would have complimented you if you came up with a range of bereavement cards' etc; he's not kidding.

Only got into this over the last couple of shows in the last series. Might catch up with it this time.
