Best Forum Game

Nominees: AYAW?; FIFA: The Rivals; Forumite Forfeits; GRAPL; Sig Swap; The Eliminator

We've had our fair share of Forum games this year - these six have been nominated as the best of a very good bunch. As Mockmaster made it very clear on his voting form, three of the six nominations are his creations, so he should be honoured that his fevered imagination can create such exciting and entertaining ways to waste some time. However, as this list proves, he isn't the only member on here who has the ability to craft and run a popular forum game.

Each game nominated for this award has provided us with many memorable moments. Forumite Forfeits gave us Anung's cross dressing shenanigans, Cuttooth's multiple personality disorder and yet another infamous evasion of doing something stupid from Eighthours. AYAW?, set in space for the first time, provided many tense moments and eventually resulted in a triumphant victory for the wolves. Sig Swap was a much more communal event that encouraged sharing and reciprocation as forumites created sigs for randomly assigned partners. The Elminator was a beast of a game that every single member of the forum was a part of (whether they knew it or not). The other two are based on sports that I'm not really interested in, but I'm sure they were good games as well.

But only one can win the award. The winner of the Best Forum Game is...

AYAW?

Derided at the time, the AYA? franchise still proves to be the most popular game on GRcade.
