Didn't know there was an awards thing. Bit miffed my adventure thread didn't get a mention or nomination.

I think the soggy biscuit thing needed to win, that was just wrong, how does MCN's post history equal to that?

Whether you want to discuss cinema, TV, gambling-based card games, nocturnal activities, the perils of adding redundant motivational captions to inherently amusing pictures, or just chat, all these threads cater for your needs.

USTV should have got that!

I'd get all upset at some of these award winners for winning over other, more deserving candidates in my eyes, but I didn't vote so I can't complain. I had my chance to make a difference.

Best Non-GGC Thread

Nominees: The Football thread; Last Film; Pics/Gifs; The Poker thread; USTV; The Wrestling thread

GRcade is a thriving gaming community, there's no doubt about that. However, outside of General Games Chat there is a world of excitement and delight to be found that has nothing to do with sales figures or the Next Big Thing.

This category is, granted, very similar to the Best Long Running Thread, but the reason for this is that all the best threads tend to go on and on, constantly moving and providing a dynamic environment for entertainment. And with that last sentence, I just made the Pretentious Bullshit-o-meter explode.

Anyway.
