DISCLAIMER
The below are listed in Generation order (Newset generation with earliest console first) and then the games are listed alphabetically in that catergory. Don't go postal on me for putting them in the 'wrong' order!
Also, sorry to the 56k'rs

In spoiler tags to save space, it's not that huge though.
Just click the Spoiler button to reveal the list (with pictures!)

I couldn't get all the cover art, but nobody likes a list with no images so I tried my bestesist to get as many as I could and edit them to a small size.
I'm not that old, so I can't possibly cover the best of the best fully, but from what I have played the below are my favourites. If I've missed anything, made a typo or put a game under the wrong system, please let me know!!

Anyway I couldn't make a list of 100 (it leaves room for future games!), but off the top of my head...

Well done to the guys who posted Body Harvest and Silicon Valley, both original and very creative games that are big favourites of mine. Played them to death when all I had was an N64.

From that era I'd like to add Blast Corps, one of my all time favourites, that game had it all, action, puzzles, cool vehicles and wanton destruction on a massive scale (for that era). I really hope it gets LIVE'ed at some point.

It's criminal that nobody has mentioned Pikmin.

Most underrated game ever?

Or at least, most under-remebered (if that makes sense)

I did, since it's one of the best games ever made.

It's grotesque. It suffers from pretty much every graphical sin an early 3D game can suffer from. I LOVE the concept (I liked Firemen on the SNES, too), but I've just never ever been able to sit down and play it without vomiting. Of all Sega's post collapse titles, Burning Rangers is probably the single one that would benefit the most from next-gen advances in physics technology. (and indeed, the technology to draw non-pukeworthy 3D graphics).

Maybe now, but at the time it was lovely, leave us and our rose tinted goggles alone. The soundtrack was another classic, I wish it would be remade, but since Sonic Team are rubbish now I doubt it.

Oh and sarge, you should change that piccy of exhumed to the Saturn version...it had deathtank in it. :D

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Agree with TurnipKing's points. However, there were some very nice touches in the game. The one I liked was when the people you'd saved would send you emails, thanking you.

Definately one of the best scenarios in videogames ever.

If you haven't played it, you really should. Like, right now. Even if you hate 3D platforming, the story is probably worth the entry fee by itself.
