This game has so much packed into it!

Never been into fighting games but have to say this is looking fantastic.

In so glad they introduced modern controls. It's gonna be so much easier to just play this casually with people.

As well as just use characters for fun.

Who's everyone liking the look of so far? I really like the look of Kimberly. I always liked Guy but he always felt too floaty to me. Kimberly looks like a cross between Guy and Ibuki.

Kimberly seems annoying as strawberry float.

Some of the new characters kind of remind me of Street Fighter EX plus Alpha characters for some reason, shame they never brought some of them back in the more recent SF games.

A lot of those characters belong to another company and are in the game Ex Fighting Layer which you can buy digitally. It's also on mobile I believe.

Fairly sure one of the EX plus alpha characters (Pullum, the Arabian princess type woman) was in Powerstone with a slight design change and different name.

I think Eagle was also loosely based on Dudley from SFIII

These characters share design traits but I don't think they have anything to do with each other.

Plus Eagle is a Capcom character. He was in CvS2 and Alpha 3

Really enjoyed playing this guy, we were really evenly matched.

I'm definitely not as into fighting games as I used to be, I would have played this all weekend before, but now I've played a couple of hours and had my fill.

I've been playing the beta and loving it. June 2nd though?! That's so far away, it feels very polished already. :cry:

Why do so many online matches take place in the empty training mode stage?

I assume its easier to concentrate with a plain background.

I'm not into fighting games - I am far too rubbish at them - but I was very impressed by the quality of the character graphics and how slick their movement is when I saw this in the State of Play show last night. It looked great!

Yeah this looks fantastic, still not sure if I will jump in at launch but the more I see the more tempted I get.
