Can I join the 'Running Bad Club'?

Been on Betfair for the Solent team - and did really well, but as always got sucked out on.

Good hand second hand in though...

A guy shoved almost his whole stack in by the river, I shoved over with 2 pair and he folded for two hundred more having commited 2.3k thus doubling my stack.

A good call with A-7 against an all in of J-7 had me right in there with a shot.

However, trying to stack a medium stack with A-J vs A-9 went wrong when he turned a 9.

That left me in a struggle situation, and I got very low indeed, I just had nothing you could even try a shove with. But I got hand where I was in the BB with 9-5, it was checked to the end which rivered me a straight, I shoved and remarkably got a caller - who sent me back into the front end of the table.

So then, I have SIX-FIVEc and this guy shoves on me on a Kc-Qc-Jc board for all his stack, Bingo! I call instanly and hes got an off suit K-TEN, no club. Its for the lead!

Turn - J River - K.

:|

That sends me almost to the rail, but I've got time to shove my Tens into other Tens, Kings and Aces. FML.

It's about time I bloody win something on Pokerstars. I must have gone through close to 2,500 pounds in the last 5 weeks.

Also I didn't explain the stealing too well. Wasn't like general stealing. Didn't play a hand for like 2 orbits then shoved 9BB from the CO and people posted "WOOO YEAH!!!" etc in the chat. Don't think any edge was lost lol.

EDIT: I might try satelite in but if not I will probably sell action at like 1.05%. Would anyone be interested?

Remember that $200 of action I bought?

I'm just sharkscoping some of the players at your tabe and there's some highly profitable players left in. I probably ought to change my note on CHISSY1977.

That river was a temporary heart-stopper moment right there. :(

I get those moments when playing for $2. I need to detach myself emotionally from poker.

Well no more poker for me untill Friday now. As I've stopped playing Stud8 cash games, don't have the time to play tournaments midweek and don't want to play NLH cash on the computer I'm on.

Bit sad.

You mean you do something other than piss all over MTTs?

I'm waking up tomorrow and grinding the gooseberry fool out of $20 freezeouts again. :D

I am on a strawberry floating roll.

I've won about $300 this past week and I just can't stop hitting on the river! ( )

In fairness, nearly every time I've hit on the river, all the betting happened pre-flop and on the majority of the occasions I've had the better hand pre-flop.

Unfortunately for the time being I do as I'm doing 'work experience'. However having looked at the figures CHRISSY1977 has for 2009, I reckon I could pull that off as from my expereince he's not great though the few hands I played against him could be an exception, but he had like $120k profit on sharkscope last year which is a bit of because it doesn't count rebuys properly. But considering it's tax free I'd take that over pretty much any graduate job.

I think that's quite a big claim tbh. Obv you are good but your sample size is so small. Also if you factor in your stars and tilt accounts:

Total games: 396
Net profit: 7756
Avg profit: 19.59
Avg stake: 41.39
ROI: 47% (note net ROI not avg roi)

I think if anyone decides to take poker as a career choice then they need SOLID evidence of their ability. I would definitely not go in without a huuuuge roll.

EDIT: 5th in the 6max $25 RB for $500.

EDIT: If you go pro can we prop bet against net profit $120k? :P
