Gah, just got lost 400 to a big bluffer, who kindly showed me his shitty hand. I should have called with KK
I must admit, I'm a bit furious after that, but won't go off tilt. I'll just get him next chance.

Just saw you knock out two people with quads, nice!
Good luck.

Thanks, the fourth flush card made me feel a little sick.

Best of luck Nova.
I read this and it made me laugh.
Its in reference to a quad AA's been beat by a Royal flush.
Such a donkey.
Going all in with quad aces there, what did he expect to get called by?
I fold quad aces at least twice a week
Some guy said this on the comment box to the video

I ended up going out in 437th
Went all in AJ, actually got myself trips, but beaten by a FH with Queens.
Unfortunate, but proving again I can cash in a field of a lot of players (6000 at least), and also made 11 W$.

I was wondering if anyone would be trying to satellite it to the WSOP this year?
I was wondering which site was best for this as i'm up for the challenge my only issue at the moment is money but i hope to be back in work soon.

I would, but I think you have to be 21, so will probably leave it. Qualified for a $11 rebuy qualifier for a LAPT tournament though through a 25c tourney
I sold the seat for W$, which I'll try to accumulate to try and qualify for a live tourney.

Just had a quick go at the cash tables again and turned $10 into $17.
I doubled up on one table with this hand:
I wouldn't normally be so agressive with such a small two pair but I was very confident I was ahead, I didn't expect his cards to be as bad as K5 though (especially with the small utg raise)
.

I might have to have more of a go at cash games. I'll just be patient, and try and grind out some cash. Is there any other knacks to it at all? I'll have a 2 hour sesh soon if there isn't.

Well I'm no expert but so far I've been playing quite tight and aggressive. When you hit a monster hand bet it big and you'll usually get called and paid off.

One other tip Nova, at the low limits unless the player is a maniac, if he reraises you he has AK/QQ/KK/AA.

satriales the hand seems ok though the ace is a scare card at these stakes. Not because of AK but because of people playing A4/A3. I think you are ahead more often than not though I wouldn't really be playing 43 that often at these stakes.
Nova you want to be playing very very tight. You raise only the top say 10%-15% of hands preflop. If you hit, you carry on, if you miss you always give up unless their bets are so so small compared to pot size. Basically never try to bluff people at these stakes, it just isn't worthit. Playing really tight is the most profitable way to beat low stakes NLHE. As PS basically said, your goal is to differentiate between super fish (most of the players) and super nit (you hopefully!). There will be some players certainly who are playing these stakes JUST like you because they also realise it is such a decent strategy. If you identify someone is not playing many hands and giving up on pots make a note of it and don't run into them often.
The only problem I can see you facing is bordem since you are playing tight. Please try to not give in though. It is so worthit in the long run. If you do get bored try adding more tables. I play 4-5 tables (admittedly I play like 20% of hands now but I have to because stakes dictate) but I am rarely not involed somewhere.
I played a live tournament at pokersoc again on Monday for £5. Once again got bored and shoved K high for busto. Went to play cash and picked up £25 for my troubles. I should probably just miss the tourney and come late for cash!!
Also played just 60 hands last night before going out and made $103.
SNG are going good still as well. In Feb I have set myself a target of 300 $11 9 man SNG on stars. A bit over 10 per day starting Sunday. If all goes well (winrate wise) and I make it I should make ~$600+.

Its a do or die match on the last day of the month in the LPPL this week. 1st will probably see me qualify outright, a top three will probably get me in as a reserve, final table perhaps a reserve turning up on the day. Anything else....bye bye.

I quite liked this hand:
I would normally fold 33 to a pre-flop raise but the guy that raised and the other one that called have been playing 80% of hands and I knew I'd get paid well if a 3 turned up on the flop. Once again I wasn't expecting to be up against K5

God I wish I was rolled for cash. I hate Sit and Go's with a passion.
EDIT: I posted that last night, so here's one nice hand history demonstrating the fun I have.

You lost a coin flip. The odds only matter where you got it all in tbh. If you were all in at flop, different story obviously but I wouldn't take that as any sort of bad beat.
I've been destroying SnG $11 tables. They are very soft. What stakes games are you playing? I don't understand how you can play them and then think you are not rolled for cash? Surely you can play some cash? Maybe you are doing something wrong in the SNG games? Drum was telling me you made some errors being too aggressive in the later stages the other day. Perhaps make some videos or we can sweat eachother sometime?
I'm going to play more SnG now. Two done already today, will probs play another 8-10 games. Also PS you might want to get involved with my sharkscope subscription. I have posted this before but it really helps make decisions knowing how profitable someone is.

I'm getting sucked out all over the place at the moment. A7o beating AQ?
I don't know how to stop such a dreadful run, I'm going to drop right down to the bottom level for a while.
