Literally had nothing the entire time. Had TT which got cracked by JJ and that's about it.

What would everyone do if there was a limper in the pot and you were on the button with something similar to KJ/QJ/A-rag etc. Would you be sticking in a raise to try and steal the blinds or just let it go?

It depends on the limper mainly. If he's bad and or loose I'd happy raising with something like KJ, looking to hit top pair and extract some value. I'd let go of the rag Aces as they're difficult to play against someone who's not going to fold a lot. With low suited wheel Aces (A2-A5) I'd be happy to limp along in position. If he's a tightish player you can weight his range more towards small pairs and suited connectors and look to take it down with a cbet on high flops.

The best thing to do is to go and have a session where you raise the majority of limpers when you're in position to get used to the situations you'll get in.

I just 4-tabled some more $16 turbo SNGs while watching TV and managed to cash in all 4 with a 1st, 2nd, 2nd, and 3rd 8-) The 3rd should have also been a 2nd really as I lost with AQ v AT.

So that's 11 cashes from the last 14 of those games

Like 4. I don't waste my time with chip tricks. :P

It's my opinion that you don't want to tell the fish they are fish since they may realise and try to get better. Just my view anyway but I don't think it helps. What I do like is trying to tilt people who think they are good but aren't and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLing when you suck out on them. This I feel can make you more profitable.

Nice owning Gaz.

I shove AJ after an UTG limper calls with Q10. Flop's a Q. Then I called someone's 10bb shove with QQ and he flops two pair. :fp: Having a hand hold up might be nice.

EDIT: And of course the Big Blind has aces when I decide to shove my small stack, small blind in to him.

Then followed by this:

PokerStars Game #41783098755: Tournament #256929336, $3.00+$0.40 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level V (75/150) - 2010/03/27 15:08:17 WET [2010/03/27 11:08:17 ET]
Table '256929336 1' 9-max Seat #1 is the button

Seat 7: alfanyc (1625 in chips)
Seat 8: Maima 1810 (1170 in chips)

alfanyc: folds
Maima 1810: raises 1020 to 1170 and is all-in
Olive Hoover: folds
mesqueun: folds
KenksMudda: folds
whiskey920: calls 1020
*** FLOP *** [Jc 9d 8h]
*** TURN *** [Jc 9d 8h] [Qc]
*** RIVER *** [Jc 9d 8h Qc] [Kh]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
whiskey920: shows [Qd Ah] (a pair of Queens)
Maima 1810: shows [Ks Ac] (a pair of Kings)
Maima 1810 collected 2415 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 2415 | Rake 0
Board [Jc 9d 8h Qc Kh]
Seat 1: mesqueun (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 2: KenksMudda (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 6: whiskey920 (big blind) showed [Qd Ah] and lost with a pair of Queens
Seat 7: alfanyc folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 8: Maima 1810 showed [Ks Ac] and won (2415) with a pair of Kings
Seat 9: Olive Hoover folded before Flop (didn't bet)

My trick is I lose regardless of what hand I have.

Gah, went ultra far in a Vegas freeroll, only to shove Sixes into Kings. So, so frustrating. The number of times Ive now had myself all in for the lead with just the wrong hand is overwhelming...

:(

And I win my final tournament $30 Double Stack Freezeout $5,0000 guaranteed (Ipoker) for $1,668.60

HU was easiest ever the guy was as passive as hell and through out the final table he only ever limped and if checked to on the turn he'd pot it. The guy finally shoved on a KJx Board with A8 with me holding K2. I think he got frustrated and just starting shoving flops.
