I reached the cash in the $50 tournament but soon after lost most of my stack with KK v 88 and then after that made a bad move with 77 and ran into KK.

I was thinking of getting some decent chips. Anyone know where I can get some at a good price?

http://www.pokershopping.co.uk/I typed in Poker sets UK in to Google and that was the top result and it looks fairly legit.
http://www.casino-shop.co.uk/group.php?v_ic=PN5There's also that one which I think might be the one that PokerSoc get their cards from.

If you have enough FPPs you can get a poker set from the Stars VIP store.

I've been doing pretty well recently.
I've gone back to playing SnG games as I think it's what I'm best at and more likely to make a steady profit with as opposed to the $4.40 tournaments. I played a couple of 6-Max $13 games earlier (first time I've played 6-Max in a long time) and finished 1st and 2nd for a nice profit. Should have been two firsts but the guy made two flushes in a row against me HU when I had him covered at almost 5:1, the first time I had top pair and the second time I turned a straight. Final hand we got it in at the flop when I had top pair and he had middle pair, and he turned a second. Still, my bankroll is at a new peak.
Here's my graph.

Moved my Ipoker role from PaddyPower to WH because I prefer them and from a guess I'd say there loyalty program was better. I really should just concentrate on one site but I like to play on Stars because I like the thought of being a SNE but it's probably best to play micro 6 max there because there's no rake but then after that from 25NL up the Ipoker games are softer apparently.

Are you at a similar roll to me, Drummy? I moved up to $450 ish today after a good evening at the tables. I could have been 20$ further up but my inability to win coinflips saw my QQ lose to AK in an 18-man for the win, basically. Still, happy enough with that start to the year.

I have never run so badly in a single game of poker in my life as I did at the pub tonight. I somehow managed to finish 7/12 because I won two small pots when my BB was called around to me and I hit with a two and a four. I got blinded down to the final table where I went all in blind on my BB and turned over 46o on the river. Worst game ever. My best pocket all night (by some distance) was A5o.
