I don't think you can, it shouldn't make much difference though and you'll soon get used to using dollars.

What's your username?

You are playing against people from all over the world so a single currency makes it fair on everyone. If some people were playing in $ and others were playing in £ then the $0.02/0.05 games would be called £0.0123331/0.0308335 to the people playing in £. You could round up or down but then you are either getting a bad rate or the people in $ are getting a bad rate. A single currency is fair.

Yeah I get that, it's just a little annoying.

Anyway I've slipped back in nice and easy, up a little after about half an hour, I'll quit for lunch in a minute.

If your roll is £20 ($30ish) and you are playing NL25 then you're are probably playing too high stakes at the moment. A small amount of variance and you could lose your whole roll.
I'd recommend dropping down to stakes where the BB is 10c or 5c.

Pfft naff that I used to always do 15 and 25p when I was into it a few years ago which was fine.

The only problem is when it's so low and you get pocket Kings or something it's infuriating only getting a dollar or so out of it

I'm more likely to bump it up a bit than down.

I'm going out now but I'll be playing again this evening.

If you don't mind depositing more then it's fine to play a bit higher. If you have $30 and you are playing NL25 then it is very likely that you will lose your $30 no matter how well you play, it just isn't enough for that level.

Nah he'll be alright. If he's just playing recreationally a lower amount is fine. Plus, he was playin Limit when I checked earlier so he's unlikely to go broke too quickly.

On limit it's fine, but you're not going to able to play properly at 25NL with a roll of 30$ I think I had $500 before I thought about it!
