Exactly, all you want to do is give them a piece of your mind, but at the end of the day its pointless. They don't have a brain so its not going to go in regardless, and you don't want to look like a loser. As far as they're concerned, they have played really well because they have the most chips. End of.

I just get angry, because my mate lost two all ins on two nights in a row to 6-8. Theres bad luck, and then sheer disrespect.

How so?

Calling someones all-in pre-flop with absolute no reason to do so (no extra chips etc) with 6-8 off-suit is ridiculous. Doing it twice in two nights I would describe as disrespectful.

But there's no respect in the first place. To them you're just another punter who fancy's picking two cards and seeing whether they win or not.

Players like that are the ones you want to be playing post flop where most of the skill comes into play.

Problem is what happens if you miss spiking anything on the flop? You can't bluff the guy since he'll call with just about anything and there's every chance he'll spike something on the turn/river which in turn is money down the drain for you. Unless you have a decent pocket pair or the community cards are utter rubbish and you can win with a high card/low pair you're sunk. :fp:

Signed up for the LPPL but will probably wait until I get back from uni in a few months and give it a proper whack.

I just played two 27-man $3 SnG's while I was watching The Wire. I came 1st in one of them and 2nd in the other, netting a cool $51.60 8-)

Overall though my bankroll is down quite a bit this month as I've mostly been playing the odd MTT here and there. I need to stick with these SnG's for a bit and build it up again.

Unless you run sick hot at one of them MTTs. Yeah decrease the variance IMO.

Still not played online since like Feb. :)

Same. Sadly I don't foresee this changing any time soon.

True but only to a certain degree. The problem is with the majority of tournaments is that the rising blinds will reduce the amount of play that's available post-flop. Can somebody who play's in these give me an idea of how many big blinds the average is on the final table of these?

Oh and the rest of you need to grow a pair and get back on the horse damnit!

Played another 27-man $3 SnG and came 3rd. At the same time I was playing a $2 turbo MTT and came 204/6500ish. Should have done better but my AA got beat by KK.
Got about $30 profit from those 2.

After this I was left with 335 chips, there were 21 players left, and blinds were 50/100 but I somehow came back and got 3rd. When we were down to 3 players I was short stacked and had KQs and the guy to my left had previously shown TT and then KK in the last two hands. He raised again and I pushed all-in only for him to show KK again :fp:

Unlucky Sat, good that you still managed to cash though.

I just sticked $50 into PartyPoker (to enjoy a little more fishiness), and I've won my first 6$ SNG :D

Instant $20 profit is nice :)

Yeah, I've seen that. On the surface it looks like a rough night, losing 500k, but Dwan played immensely.

I think I prefer PartyPoker now, btw :P

Firstly, I get the old A +weak kicker suck out. Then, against the same person, I flop a straight with my Q9 in my BB - KJT. SB checks, I check, this guy goes all in. I call.

Turn is K. River is J... Please sir, take your pick of full house.
