To be honest, whilst it's great to meet up with you guys, what's really putting me off this time is the bingo endgame. Like it doesn't actually matter whether you make the FT with ~200k because it becomes pot luck. What Nick would be better off doing is flipping the levels upside, with shorter levels at the beginning and longer levels towards the end.

Yeah I agree, to be honest. I don't think he'll listen, though. Why don't we just arrange a casino day somewhere?

I do like the pub games in southampton, but I agree the structure could be improved a lot if the levels didn't increase so rapidly toward the end. When you reach the final table as chipleader yet still have only 10BB then there's something wrong. Even just removing the first level so you start at 50/100 and then adding another level later on would make a big difference I think.
I'd certainly be up for a casino game sometime.

I agree too, he asked me to post it here for the added coverage. Casino sounds good to me!

I think someone mentioned it earlier is anyone else trying to qualify for UKIPT Brighton? Could be fun...

I had a go the other day, playing a couple of £2 rebuy satellites, but didn't get anywhere. I'd like to try again sometime, i'd love to actually play in the UKIPT.

Yeah can do. I will probs have to chat via MSN though unless I can find mic.
Might enter this. If I do then I will likely be looking to sell some action. For anyone else interested, the structures for each event can be found here:
River: (t24270) Q (2 players) BB bets t36842 all in, Hero calls t31082 all in
Final Pot: t86434 Hero shows 5 5 (four of a kind, Fives) BB shows J T (a pair of Fives) Hero wins t86434
I registered for the tournament just before the 2hr late reg closed, and started with 5k in chips. An hour later and my stack is 100k

The guy who tried to bluff me off my quads came back and built a nice big stack which I was just waiting to take from him, but then he knocks two others out with AA and the tables are moved. So somebody else will get all of his chips.
