Cash games didn't go so well today. I got off to a terrible start down $55 at one point thanks mainly to AK<77 on AK7 flop. Then I slowly grinded it back up and eventually got into the profit again, only for me to run very bad and stay around break even while my EV line continued to move upwards. It then ended with more run bad in the form of KK<AA, and AK<JT on a AKQ flop. So my profit took a nose dive back down into the negative.

Still, I got a decent amount of volume in compared to what I normally play and I spotted a few mistakes I made which hopefully I won't repeat next time.

I love how the EV line is shown there but not in the one where you won $100

EV was about the same as the actual line with that graph so I didn't include it.

Edit: Just for you, here it is ;)

Just got deep in a 4.40 for the first time in ages. Had 15k and position on the aggro chip leader who has 66k. He is opening to 5x at 400/800 like every other hand. Anyway I get AQ and shove over his standard raise and he calls with A9. He then four flushes me and I bust like 14th or whatever.

Not really, I've still got some stuff I need to improve on before I'd class myself as good at these things. I've threw away chances late in when I had good opportunities to win other games, so I'm not completely happy with how I've played recently.

On it's own the one I just won I'm relatively happy with though, as I felt I adapted fairly well to the changing table dynamics from the bubble onwards and didn't really commit myself in any marginal spots. Noticing occasions where the villain was making their range very polarised helped me chip up a bit too which was fun.

Thanks for the rail guys.

Just dealt for $1079.26 3 handed on Party Poker . The other two guys making the deal must have been retarded. I asked for $1000 which was about $120 more than what I would have got if it was a chip% deal. But also they then gave me an extra $79.26

I was third in chips and 3rd place was only $560ish.

Race update. Probably around $1700

I think I'm going to get lots of volume in today as I don't have work. I've also worked out a system that is completely unexploitable wait til I have aces and then shove.

Got off to a rocky start at the cash tables again, losing $25 almost straight away. Managed to recover and finished with ~$55 profit.
I didn't get much volume in though as I played some tournaments first, but I didn't cash in any of those despite the standard of play being even worse than usual.
