gg everyone, looks like most of us are doing well at the moment :)

I'll join in the race to $1500 although I have a feeling Nova will get there first with him being at ~$1300 already (my roll is $880), $2k sounds like a better target IMO. ;)
I haven't had time to play much recently and I'm going to be busy again this weekend but i'll try and squeeze in a few hours of cash games here and there when I can.

Perhaps we should make it 2k then, particularly considering Drummy's roll. Also, I lost 2 buy-ins yesterday, but made up for it with a $50 VIP bonus. Going to basically get one more of those and then the Stellar bonus on Stars before moving on at new year.

This might be good for me. My target for the end of the year was $2k a few months ago, but then I stopped playing until a week before the GRSOP began as I was no longer enjoying poker.

Cool. I definitely am looking forward to moving off of Pokerstars but because of the $100 bonus I know I'll be able to get as well as the extensive notes I have on players I may as well try to finish $25NL there. I have a £40 buy-in tourney at the weekend though, which may dent my roll, particularly if I decide to play the £50NL cash table and get some variance.

Just finished 6th in a $12 180-man for $99. Got lots of non-cashes in some other MTTs though so only up about $25 tonight.

Rex, a true challenge for you. Call it 500 d in poker stars. You have to roll that only to 2k. I know you hate that site. Should add to the fun! U in? Ben you good to update the thread, I'm tempted to create a new thread devoted to this goal, all in?

Poker Stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players

awesomeOV (SB): $72.29

2 folds, Hero raises to $1, 3 folds, awesomeOV raises to $2.25, 1 fold, Hero raises to $8.50, awesomeOV raises to $72.29 all in, Hero calls $38.19 all in

Flop: ($93.63) QImage TImage 4Image (2 players - 2 are all in)

Turn: ($93.63) 2Image (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: $93.63
awesomeOV shows 7Image AImage (high card Ace)
Hero shows JImage JImage (a pair of Jacks)
Hero wins $91.63
(Rake: $2.00)

This guy was the most agressive player I've ever seen. His stats were something like 78/65 and he 3bet 53% of the time. He'd raise UTG with crap like T2o and then call any reraise. Every flop he saw he would bet it and not a normal size bet, but 1.5 - 3x the pot. He would even check raise bluff on the river
Basically I knew my jacks were ahead here most of the time.
