I went on full tilt to play a $15 turbo SnG but accidently registered for a Super Turbo :fp:

I came 2nd though :P

Edit: My theory of switching to FullTilt instead of Stars to get rakeback doesn't seem quite as good an idea as I first though. On Stars the tournaments I'm playing at the moment are $15+1, but on FullTilt they are $11+1.

Once you factor in rakeback you are basically paying the same 6.66% rake at both sites.

I think I'll move to a Euro site in the new year.

Pretty sure we are all sorted for the meet now.

Anyone think we should do some prop bets? :P

I was planning to make the Coventry meet up with my poker friend but the surgery has hit me harder than I thought it would. I should be up for next time! Have fun guys :).

Bring as much warm stuff as you can, it's cold here. :(

Also sending out more copies of the vid to those who requested and will film some more tonight if you want. I've also sent Sykes a bit of a guide to how I play if anyone wants this.

Literally in all but one game tonight, my all-in ace has been beaten by a weaker ace, him hitting his kicker every time. Even in the one I won I had to hit a river straight after he'd hit his kicker. How on earth?

Nice Rex!

And Sykes, that is seriously rough. I think I'm playing pretty well at the moment, but I'm losing my all ins when I'm ahead in the final 3 every time atm. I'm on 10k to some guys 3k, and he doubles twice from behind before taking all my chips with JK vs J8. On my other table, I go out in 3rd with A9 vs A5

I need those to be holding if I'm going to be making a proper profit, surely...

Sykes, how about this: I decide to play a HU on WillHill, get 55, raise it up. flop is 458 rainbow. He bets hard, I call. he shoves A turn, I call and he turns over 68. River is a 7 :?
