hey this is worth a read mate. First book I ever read and now I'm a 'winning player'. Bare essentials in this book. Dead cheap too and won't take too long to read.

The value of the dollar's falling off a cliff. The pound has gained about 2 cents today so could be worth depositing some money soon.

Came second in a $25 rebuy for $841.50

What a colossal waste of time. Why is it that I always get HU with some retard who cannot play HU to save his strawberry floating life and he wins.

More of an intermediate + site that Drummy.

Since we've had a couple of new guys post in the thread asking for advice I'll try and dig out a few articles and get them scanned in for some help. Watch this space.

Fargo, I recommend signing up to Full Tilt Poker and using there academy website (ITS FREE!). Deposit $10-20 and expect to lose some or all of it!

Their academy is pretty cool for new players and is instructed by some of the worlds top pros. You can earn points and trade them for rewards.

I used it ages ago and really benefited from it.

http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/ you'll find the software here

http://academy.fulltiltpoker.com/ and here you can start in the academy

Good luck!

As if you don't already have enough money you steal a micro stakes rakeback referral! Should go to Luwinski IMO since he's helped him out.

As I'm in London at the moment and the computer I'm playing on crashed twice during my Sunday Tournaments I'm thinking about going to play live cash. Possibly at the Vic. Anyone happen to have been?

What was it in the end? $200 or $250? I'll send through $200 now if it was more let us know.

Going to get GS on PS this month hopefully. Might play the FTOPS 6max though I'm not really rolled for $200 at all anymore/never (I just about to manage to stretch it. Never cashed in a buying more than $100 so I'm due a win though.

Rex, what do you think about the idea of me trying HU cash on iPoker? I can afford to play .10/.20 and have loosened up my game considerably.

I think rake kills any reasonable win rate at stakes below 50/100NL. After like 100 hands you'll both have 75% of the stacks you started with.
