Well, I'm shite and don't know what I'm doing so....
Hey please don't be like that. I'm only trying to help you. From experience, I'd say you were just experiencing some good variance. Nobody can expect to just convert to Omaha and win easily. Thinking < 10 buyins for something where you probably get it AI more than with NHLE is probably not great. I am not saying you are not a good player or that you know nothing, I am sure you can do great. People here always stick behind you you know. Satriales was very generous with the staking that started your roll and now you actually have a sizeable amount I don't want to see it all go up in smoke. You have enough now to really begin playing but you cannot rush these things. Drumstick started with $50 on stars a LONG time ago and has slowly, but surely built this up to something much bigger just playing what he was comfortable with and keeping bankroll management in mind.
If you want to play Omaha there is nothing wrong with this but if possible I would suggest lower stakes and do a bit of reading. K883 unsuited is a 100% fold from all positions to be honest. In omaha having a pair in your hand doesn't actually carry that much value anymore unless it is AA. Even KKXX isn't a real monster hand anymore. The hands you should be playing are weighted more towards draws to connections and double suits or suited aces flop much harder. The types of flops that you do want to try and play aggressive on are ones where you have a set and a flush draw/straight draw or top two pair and a draw etc. Amazingly if you have KKJJ and flop a set of kings then turn a set of jacks you are a dog to someone who has a wrap and a double flush draw with only one card remaining. So even at the turn a double set can sometimes be the worse hand!
If you want to get better I think you need to be able to take criticism and understand it is simply a feedback system that allows people to adjust their game. Post lots of hands. If people disagree try to understand why and consider rethinking your game for the next time it happens. Don't just auto assuming we are saying "NO DML, YOU ARE STUPID" because we are not. I've played a fair bit of Omaha cash and if you want I willrecord an hour tonight of me playing 2 six max $10NL tables just so you can get an idea of the range of hands I play? I get the impression it might be different to you. Also people disagree with other people's hands lots. I've pretty much said Ecno played the last three hands or so that he posted very wrong. I think he tries to take this on board and apply it to the table. Slayer the same. He posted one the other day that didn't go too good and the one he just posted I dislike lots! Be more positive!
Anywho slayer hand. I think you are way too deep (ok I KNOW you are way too deep) to be pushing. I don't like calling pre. Min raise of fold IMO. In HU min raising the button forces them to play lots of bad hands OOP if they are a bad player. When he bets the flop you need to consider his range. You have to give him credit for SOME sort of hand but nothing wrong because his half pot bet doesn't look very value like. I always attribute half pot as trying to take the pot down with some sort of weak hand which makes the shove seem ok but I still think it's too deep and your equity in the hand probably isn't too great since he has already got pair + or on draws too. (Possibly better draw). I thnk either raising the flop to really challenge his weaker bet or giving up is fine. You can probably get a better spot. As played I just think turn is completely unnecessary since your equity vs his range is so low. I suppose you might think there is some fold equity which is why you shoved but I guess people are donkeys. I don't know if you had many reads on this guy but if J2 is in his calling range then tbh you should wait for a hand where you hit top pair and bet, bet, bet. Nice second place though.
