Anyone want to stake me for a few small buy ins on tournaments? Split any winnings 50/50?

EDIT - By the way, I'm quite serious. I have a great LPPL record with a good average, and have just come 14th out of 500 in a qualifier. I have the moves to make the cash - and I would be playing with my undivided attention. Let me know!

Generally in order to get staking you would need to show a tournament record rather than just claims. Staking % is then based on your records. 50/50 is very generous though. You are looking at more like 70/30. What sort of tournaments are you talking about and where? I don't mind staking if it's very small stakes and you are interested in getting better.

What are the buyins for those tournaments? Aren't they your local pub or something? You generally find the level of play is low :P

I can make you an offer when I know what stakes you want to play and what site.

Low buy in tournaments (thats where I'm best) on any site, although I prefer PartyPoker, Virgin or Full Tilt. The League is free to play, but the prizes are big and the Southern League is a very high standard all in all, bar the odd donk or two.

When you say low stakes you mean what? $1? $5? $10?

I can stake on Full tilt.

3 - 6 dollars is what I would usually play.

Well, it's been fun as regards to my first night on Stars. Played a few SnG's and tourneys, just about broke even. Loving the interface which is lovely and quick and the players seem generally loose which is good. Any particular tourneys that are notoriously soft?

Nova, bet more with your initial flop bet, you want to charge the draws there. 3/4's of the pot minimum. Unlucky on the result.

What did you have earlier when you came over the top of me? That's why I don't like playing on the same table to be honest, although I figured you probably had me beat to do that. You also weren't on MSN so it's not like I could ask so I had to fold my Queens.

Yeah, I'm chucking that in there too. Unless I know that Nova's just swallowed a Harrington book anyway.

Exactly. The idea is that we work together and have a slight edge over the rest of the table, that system completely breaks down if you can't actually communicate. Like I said I had to assume he had Kings or Aces there because it's unlikely he had the other two Queens, I don't see him doing it with Jacks or lower or AK, suited or not.

Had it been Jacks and I'd called, he'd have probably hit a Jack given how I'm running at the moment and we're not supposed to be damaging each others bankrolls.

The amusing thing about that is his best % to win before the river was preflop.

Not that amusing then.

Are you guys playing tommorow, I fancy boosting my bankroll. ;)
