Next years WSOP will include a tournament with $1,000,000 buy-in!

Anyone want to stake me? :shifty:

Can we just clarify this is definitely happening as I am working on a very tight budget to come. Also - can I ask if the rake is included in that £40 or is it gonna be an additional fiver or so on top - because this could all impact on my plans!

Sooner I know the better really.

I remember paying 40 flat last time so one would assume it would be the same.

Luw, if worst comes to worst, I will lend you the buy in and you can ship me the money back on Stars whenever you can afford it.

DML, definitely happening and it will be £40.

I've offered to lend the money to Luw too, so it shouldn't be a problem.

The final 15 of Event #5: $1,500 Seven Card Stud is pretty interesting. 2009 November Niner Eric Buchman is the chip leader, whilst the class of 2008's Ylon Schwartz is inside the top ten, along with Eugene Katchalov. Shaun Deeb is also sticking around as one of the short stacks.

According to the National Rail website, I should arrive at Southampton Central for 12:44. However apparently some services in this area are down, so I need to get a bus for some of this journey, so I could end up being later than that.

iJoker schedule for today:

$1,000 GTD $1 Rebuy
$1,000 GTD $10 Freezeout
$500 GTD $5 Freezeout

And then I'll see whether I fancy playing any others.

Don't think we'll be able to make the roast dinner as a team, but are we all fairly confident about meeting at ours at 1 ish? 1:30 is fine I guess, as we have a car, but we might wanna pick up some nosh.

Sounds good - I'll let you know tonight if I'm driving or going on the train. Is it easy to park around where you are?

I'll aim to get to Southampton around 12:30pm then if drummy (and DML?) want a lift from the station Nova or Luw can direct me and we pick them up.

Superb all round. I'm a little concerned at how many of our team mates seem to need the money

Won't be there tomorrow and Monday probably so good luck with the tourney.

I'm thinking about depositing again in to PS. Around £30 so about 30 buy-ins at $1.50 stakes and then hoping just to grind them out until earning enough to move up.

Since Black Friday Stars is nice and fishy so you shouldn't have any trouble building up a roll. :)
