Gaz (and anyone else I guess), are you playing the pokertube tourney on Titan tonight?

Check out my YouTube channel!

It's $5.50 to play and you can do 1 rebuy for $2.

There's $500 added and just 15 players registered so far.

Ah, for some reason I thought it was a freeroll. When does it start? I might give it a go.

I've just come back from Prague after cashing in bouth tourneys I played in. Took 7000 for 2nd in a 33man 1000 buy in event after a 3 way chop on Saturday night. On Sunday night came 3/19 for 5.5k in a 1k +1k single rebuy.

Also played in a limit cash game was up 11k at one stage but spewed a bit to finish up 4k.

Any particular epic hands you saw or took part in?

For anyone who isn't aware of the currency in the czech republic:

1 Czech koruna = 0.0352725583 British pounds

 Suppose it was funny though.

Yeah looking forward to everyone coming up. :)

Not doing too bad on the SnGs recently - I've cashed in the last 5 I played with: 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd

I was already well below EV but this has brought it back up a bit, now I just need to turn some of them 3rds into 1sts.

I didn't do very well at all in the Titan tournament.

Some donk played 56 from UTG and made a straight on the turn which caught me out as I though he must have had bigger cards than that from UTG and calling my reraise pre-flop :|

Just had the most idiotic bubble I've ever seen. Big stack's on about 8/9k and passive as anything while me and two other stacks were fighting it out on 2k each. One guy was down to about 600 chips at one point in his BB so big stack limps UTG (wtf) and it folds round to BB who just checks. Flop comes, BB shoves and big stack folds?! This happened 2 or 3 times and annoyed the strawberry float out of me. of course I ended up bubbling it. Makes me wonder if those two were colluding the way they were playing. :x

EDIT: If he was calling all-ins then at least I'd know how to play. However, when I'm on the button and got two similar stacks to mine in the blinds and I get dealt something like A3... :?:

I don't think you played the first one well.

I know you got two callers which means I suppose it is ok but the raise pre is too big as a long term raise.

I don't like the shove at all. To me it say "I have a strongish hand and I am not capable of playing so I just shove". I think you need to realise

1. You are not always going to be ahead there.
2. Anyone with a draw is probably calling for lols.
3. If you shove you only really get called by draws and thinks that are already ahead of you.

Second is meh but I still don't understand why people complain that they are playing idiots. Fair play he is an idiot but no need to tell them so or to get tilty. You want him to be playing like that! If the odd occasion where they do and win affects you then this would be the first thing in your game I would try and sort.

UL though.

If I get dealt KK in the first hand then I like to raise it up more than usual as so many times you will still get action. In a $3 SNG is very rarely gets folded all the way around in the first hand and often you get people shoving their stacks in with things like AT.

I agree that long term you shouldn't be raising 8BB but at the first level it's different as the donks will pay you off when you bet more than normal, and if you only make it about 80 then you end up with 6 players in the pot.

Yeah I understand why and indeed two callers but I thought 100-120 is about standard. Not too bothered about this, mainly the shove.

Maybe it was bad to vent in the chat channel but it was the first thing available to me. I feel I have a right to call him an idiot and call him on his bad play.

The KK and AA were happening at the same time so with the KK it was bad play but if they're calling a shove on the turn then chances are they were calling a raise as well and when the river comes I'd be too committed to give the hand up so it was all coming to the same conclusion. Either that or I fold assuming they've hit their draw and I'm stuck on 10-20 bb and hoping for a few double ups.

I played a few games this evening and didn't do too badly. I was playing some MTTs and got a couple of cashes for a small profit, and also played two more $16 SnGs and came 1st in one of them. So now I have cashed in 7 of the last 10 SNGs I've played :D

I still need to put lots of volume in if I'm going to have any chance of getting my $150 bonus. I need almost 1300 points in 15 days
