Had a sucky live freezeout. Just run so bad at my local at the moment. Just didnt get any cards today, and even when I did hit nothing. Made one bad shove which was about to be rewarded before the guy runner-runner-runnered a straight! I'm big-time down this year so far, two tiny cashes not doing much to change matters. I can maybe do one more live before the 'Big One' in Event Two of ApAT in London! Its a £75 game at the London Victoria - so wish me luck for that!

Still, saw the biggest bad beat I've seen recently!

A-K vs 7-7

Board - A-K-K-7-7.

Ouch.

Poor show, team. :(

I was hoping to come back and find that we had at least one FT rail.

I logged off around 3am.

I managed to cash in a 5.50 5th place, my best cash was on a 7.50 freeze out I managed 111th for $16.50.

So not a great day but all the 4.40 bus touts were coolers.

Anyone up for a 4.40 tonight ?

I got close but I had an agressive luckbox to my right. I was UTG with AQ (suited I think) and I made it a good size raise. Everyone folded except the luckbox who called and the flop was 234. He was first to act and did his usual thing of betting the pot on the flop, which left me with the choice of folding or all-in as I didn't have that many chips left. I went all-in as he always bets the flop regardless of his cards but this time he had 56o and had flopped the nut straight :|

I'll probably been on again later and will be up for another 4.40 if others are around.

I beat my friend in an epic 10,000 starting stack game of HU last night. It was awesome and I outplayed him like a total biiiiatch. The agreed amount was £3 (lol big stake) but I told him that we could use it on his Stars account instead so we played an $11 tournament and I ended up playing it for him. I was doing fairly well, then I lost gooseberry fool loads with AK and went back down to just below starting stack. About two hours in I finally pick up a hand (TT) and move all in to be called by AT. Miraculously, it holds. The very next hand I get AK and move all in after there is a raise before me. There is another caller and then the original raiser calls and shows JQ :fp:. The other person shows QQ. AK completely misses as usual and I'm out.

So, basically, I played four tournaments yesterday, went out thanks to AK three times (although one time it just lost me loads of chips then I moved all in with AT and ran into AA) and with AA in the other one. Sux to be me bros.

Finally!

Just won a 45 man $3.25 turbo. Now it's time to embrace the power of positive thinking (lol matusow) and get back on it. after my exams of course.

Entered final table with a mere 3500 chips blinds were 300/600 + ante. Aces held at one point to get me from about 5k to 10k. Attempted a resteal with A-10o from my bb:

***** Hand History for Game 41519257188 ***** (Poker Stars)
Tourney Hand NL Texas Hold'em - Monday, March 22, 02:13:28 ET 2010
Table 255125368 1 (Real Money)
Seat 1 is the button
Seat 1: redwendy ( $5574.00 USD )
Seat 4: Yuri777 ( $24290.00 USD )
Seat 7: Luwinski ( $31228.00 USD )
Seat 8: rudybom ( $6408.00 USD )
redwendy posts ante of [$75.00 USD].
Yuri777 posts ante of [$75.00 USD].
Luwinski posts ante of [$75.00 USD].
rudybom posts ante of [$75.00 USD].
Yuri777 posts small blind [$800.00 USD].
Luwinski posts big blind [$1600.00 USD].
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Luwinski [ Ah Td ]
rudybom folds
redwendy folds
Yuri777 raises [$7200.00 USD]
Luwinski raises [$29553.00 USD]
Yuri777 calls [$16215.00 USD]
Luwinski wins $6938.00 USD
** Dealing Flop ** [ 5d, Ac, 6c ]
** Dealing Turn ** [ Js ]
** Dealing River ** [ 3d ]
Yuri777 shows [Kh, Qc ]
Luwinski shows [Ah, Td ]
Luwinski wins $48730.00 USD from main pot

Is it reasonable to commit all but 6k chips in this situation?

Rest of it was pretty standard with a 12:1 chip advantage after this hand.

Right, for those of you coming up to Coventry to play in a random lolament at the Aisle, it's fine to stay at my house although it may get a little cramped but if you don't care then I don't.

I've just come back from Prague after cashing in bouth tourneys I played in. Took 7000 for 2nd in a 33man 1000 buy in event after a 3 way chop on Saturday night. On Sunday night came 3/19 for 5.5k in a 1k +1k single rebuy.

Also played in a limit cash game was up 11k at one stage but spewed a bit to finish up 4k.

Wow big payday! Excellent work.

Did you satellite into those events or are you just a bit of a high-roller and $1k buyin is the norm?

Coventry meet should be great fun, cheers for letting us stay at yours. I'll just bring a sleeping bag and wont take up much space :D
