So I took it down!
Hup was a complete battle, he was tough - a really good player. But I mustered up some balls and made a few bluffs and value bets to chip him down to 50k.

He then all of a sudden after playing reallllly slow started shipping most buttons really quickly. So I was playing tight OOP but had A8 for 15 ~bbs and called and one the flip vs 22.

Here's the last hand of the $4.50 I took down yesterday. Thoughts please?

He's a solid winner and a good headsup player. He had been playing really slow and then when I wittled him down to 50k he went into hyper shove mode.

No, going out for the day in a bit. Probably playing tonight though.

The play looks fine to me, you could easily afford it, and if he was in "hyper shove mode" as you say then your hand is a favourite against most of his range. ggwp.

Had a sick game last night.

My normal £2 unlimited rebuy and I gained a massive stack in the first level when a resident donk put me all in on the river on a J-7-5-8-4 board when I had 7-6 - so I doubled up and was prepared for a deep run when I had a sick run of four hands that knocked me out.

Flopped a straight with 10-8 on a Q-J-9 board. Raised a load of limpers, got one caller, who promptly turned his flush and then yet another heart on the river to guarentee I couldn't call off any more.

Then I hit a gutshot straight flush draw on the flop, and in this place there is a sizeble jackpot for anyone who hits quads or better. I tried not to let this affect my play on the hand, but on the end I rivered my straight, when someone else already had the better (and only other) straight available. Annoyingly they had the 9h I needed for my straight flush in their hand. Bastard.

Last hand I had A-4 in the BB and the flop came A-9-7. I bet a smallish amount, and got one call. The turn came a four and I started shovelling in the rest of my stack, unbenowest that he had A-7 for an already higher two pair. I feel the last one I could have played better, but largely in these hands I was cold-decked out of the game. So galling when no-one even had half your stack at the table to be out before the break. :x

Anyway, next week is my Vegas freeroll - 60 players and three trips (and cash for the top ten) on offer. I sit 15th on the chipstacks going in so hopefully I have a good shot of making the final table, considering a lot of the other big stacks will be the crazy gamblers who play loads but are shocking poker players. Fingers crossed!

(Amazingly they actually 'break' until the Sunday for the final table - so it'll be basically making the November Nine! ;) )

Could be in if I can get a usable computer. Both my laptops are broken and I'm not sure whether I want to play on this desktop.

Took the £0.50/£1 cash table down Grosevenor for £500 last night!

had the sickest hand last night probs minus ev:
I'm in the BB straddle is live 5 calls I pump it up with KK to £11 (blinds £.5/£1) and get 3 callers i lead out the 723 rainbow flop LAG guy reraises my £35 to £85 so I flat A ball on turn so i slow down and he checks too
4 on the river. he leads out £95
i tank for about 5 minutes ask him what he has and he looks away from the table
so i called and looked like a champ

I'm downloading MSN now but Pokerstars doesn't seem to work. Whenever I try and update it I get an error message.

Saying Signature Expired or wrong time settings.

Any help anyone?
