You'll have to explain this deal to me on MSN. Didn't you say your roll was over £7k just a few days ago? That's quite a dent it's taken .

Cool, I'll probably play the 1/4 million too. I was also going to play some sattelites for the Sunday Million as I want to try and win a seat for next week where the prize fund is $4 million guaranteed with $1 Million to the winner

Yeah, I tried the 100 seat GTD one and with 183 seats available, I went out in 500th with AQ vs T9o :(

Might try a few more, but should maybe roll it if I get a seat.

Unlucky Luwinski, just saw the AK<JT hand :(

Edit: I just got knocked out of the 1/4 million with AA<99, still in the micro million but not been able to build up much of a stack yet so still got what I started with.

Did I make the right move there? I'd played about 7% of 150 hands so I was pretty much card dead and that was the first pocket pair I'd seen in about 2 and a half hours of playing.

Well you did that one time, but I reckon overall it'd be a close one.

They say the worst pair you wanna be shoving for ten BBs is Sixes, as statistically anything lower will end up being a dog in too many situations to make it a profitable move, you'd be better off making the move with a different kind of hand.

With Nines and 15BBs after a raise, I'd say a shove is quite strong, maybe too much so considering the raise. However you face tough position after the flop so it may be a more profitable move to shove there. I think this one is very player dependant - I may be tempted to take a flop against a thinking opponent or a weak tight player. Against a station, I'd shove every time.

The starting stack of the micro million was 10k (200bb) and after 2hrs I was only at 12k (20bb) having been card dead the whole time and just relying on constant blind stealing to survive.

Then I get AQhh in mid position which is the best hand I'd seen all tournament. The guy to my right has slightly fewer chips than me and makes a small raise, so I 3bet for almost half his stack and he shoves. It turns out he has AK but the flop is AQx and it holds to give me a lucky double up and now I have an average stack :D

Nova is doing well with almost 40k!

Busted out the 1/4 with AK CC into AJo on QcJc9s flop -_-. Meh! Guess I played the micro million and the sunday quart at the discount price of $13 which was pretty sweet as the total buy in would have been $51.

GO SAT AND NOVA. FOR THE FT!

I moved tables a couple of times so didn't have too many reads and was down to 10bb again so took a gamble with 77 and was up against KK so that's me out. Good luck Nova.
