I've been playing more recently to try and reduce variance and have seen so much sickness it's unbelievable.

Busy weekend for me and the other half and the net connection is a but shaky might be online Monday day though.

I'm sure Nova and Luw will tell you their stories about tonight but none of us had a great one.

After about an hour and a half I've been dealt nothing. Best hand was maybe QJo at CO+1. I look down and see 55s in the sb so I limp along with 3 other people and flop a 5 with 2 hearts on board. I've got around 20-25bb. Everyone checks the flop and I put out a feeler bet on the turn. BB calls and the river comes another heart. Bye bye half my stack as I call a re-raise. (Bad call)

Then about 20 minutes later I'm in the bb with about 12-15 bb and it folds round to the sb who limps. I look down at K9cc and shove hoping to take down a small pot and move on. He calls for at least a third of his stack with K7o. Flop's clear. Turn is a 7 and river is a 7. I'm fuming and leave the table fairly sharpish to go get some air. Out in about 2 hours. :lol:

I owned the G casino but actually got owned. Destroyed all the way to final table. 7 handed (6 paid). Blinds 2k, 4k. Stack 51k. Guy opens for 15k (lol??) UTG. I ship AQs. He tanks then calls with KQo despite me showing stone cold nuts every single time I make a move. Board comes low 2 hearts. Turn is low. River Ks. FML 2 outs. Would have cashed and had chip lead with over 1/3 of all chips 6 handed. :evil:

I just gave the $16 18-man turbos a go. Guy ships 69o UTG, I snap with QQ, he turns a straight. I recover slightly, get AQ into A6, he flops a 6. Lovely.

My G Casino life last night was quite fun, actually. After playing something like five hands total last time I managed a good twenty five or so this time. I was doing fairly well until the very last hand before the second break (after 3 and a half hours of play, I think?) when I picked up AQs and open raised. The guy min raised me back and I flat called. The flop comes down Queen high so I check raise him all in.
"Have you hit a set?"
"...no"
"I have Aces."
"gooseberry fool."

This left me with 425 chips and after the break the BB was 1200. I doubled up two hands in a row, then doubled up again a few hands later to see myself with over 13k in chips. A few hands later I get AQ and call a shove who shows TT. I missed and went out.

Then Tom went out with AQ. AQ, the soul destroyer of GRcade members.

The highlight of the evening was establishing that I deserve my old username of SSBM_God after annihilating the other noobs. 8-)

I would have killed to have seen any Ace at all last night. :lol:

At least this means I'm due a run good online right?

Just went to a pub to play poker. Four people turned up. Shoved Jacks into K9. King on the flop. Shoved AQ rebuy into QQ. No Ace.

My Online Southern League game went like this.

Raise with AdJd to four BBs.

Everyone folds to one who calls.

A-7-2 rainbow comes down. He checks, I check.

A Jack comes down, still a rainbow.

He bets, I raise, he re-raises all in, I call - and he has a set of deuces.
