Tournament wasn't so bad. Sykes went out first with A9 < 88 and Drummy followed about half an hour later when his top pair failed to hold against a flush draw. I then went out around the 3 hour mark when my AT lost to AThh which turned a flush . It was the only woman at the table again! Why do the bitches have it in for me in Coventry? Last I heard Aaron was on 120k as chip leader with Sat on 50k and in 3rd.
I'm sure there will be a much more in depth write up soon! We're all set for High Stakes Poker tomorrow night. Have a good journey Shawn and see you around 8.
If I could play poker I would have been out in the first level. Due to my own stupidity, I didn't take the second 3,000 chips at the start. Anyhow, some noob raises from an early position and I call with TT and it's about 4 handed. Flop comes 853 rainbow, noob bets, I raise all-in he claims to have only seen one card (an 8) and calls and turns over 83 which holds up. So I get my 3,000 other chips now.
Feeling pretty tilted at this stage and pick up Ad2d and call some raise flop has two diamonds, some guy shoves, I accidentally call out of turn and some other guy who has a flush draw folds when he would have called otherwise. I hit flush.
By this stage, I have realised that the guy to my left will call down massively light and the guy to my right is mentally retarded insomuch as that he limps a lot and if he limps he rarely folds to a raise. Then, if he misses a flop he insta-checks, if he flops a draw he check calls and if he hits it fairly hard, he bets, 100% no variation. I proceed to exploit this.
I got moved tables about his time (I have around 12k) and most of the donks are already out and are railing. They get bored of me playing nitty and go to Tesco, the hand after they leave I get JJ and ship for 9.9k total with blinds at 400,800,75. I get called by A9 and hold up. A few hands later I get TT and raise from early position, some late position shoves for around 10k, I tank and call he has AQ, I hold up.
Down to 2 tables soon after this, I now turn the mode "Everyone else is a complete donk" on. Some guy shoves for a load of chips and I just about call with AQs, he has A9. After that, I get a cheap flop with KQ in the big blind, flop comes QQJ, he bets, I call. Turn comes 8. He ships, I half manage to convince myself that he has T9, but then realise that this is stupid and call. He has 97. The 10 does not come. I now have 100kish and the final table starts soon after.
Final table starts abysmally, lose 66 to AA against a short stack despite 6 on turn (A on river). I get zero action with AA and QQ and get a walk in the big blind with AK. Also lose a bit with AT against JJ but at least it didn't go all-in there.
The second orbit of the final table starts soon after the first ends (as one would expect really). Not many hands to speak of really, have to take a short stack all-in a couple of times with QJ and JT but lose both times. Manage to knock ethnic female out when she shoves into my big blind with A4, I snap with AK.
Down to 4 handed, playing a bit of Nash tables with the blinds. Have about 100k with blinds at 5k-10k. In big blind, folds to small blind (120k stack) who shoves, look down at KJs, snap call, he has 63o. He binks a 6. I cry.
AJ in BB first hand, 2 limpers, AKxr, I bet and win. K8s w/8BB's shove pre, called by guy w/TT who tells me he thinks I have AA due to my tight play, he hits full house on the turn. AKo shove pre, no callers. A9s shove pre, one caller w/88 he hits full house on the turn.

I got down to the final 3 with a very small stack and the chip leader proposed a deal where we split the money evenly (£350 each) and leave £90 for the winner. 3rd place was £240 and 2nd £375, so I snapped at the deal, came 3rd, and ended up with £350.
So I owe you £15.50 (17.50 for your 5% minus £2 for the last longer bet). I can send you it on Stars if you like or just leave the money with one of the other guys if you are going to see them soon.
Minus another £1.50 for a portion of chips . Good work anyway, you must have been there for bloody ages. Probably best to send it through Stars.
I don't think I can make it tonight, I'm afraid. If people were willing to stake me then I'd consider it, but again, I don't like taking money off people.
Titan. I was rang last night by a member of staff at Titan to say I'd be selected at random to recieve this 535 dollar entry into the 1million Guarenteed Tourament on the 9th. I have to stick twenty quid in my account and I will recieve the bonus on contacting the online support. I was a bit wary at first, but he asked for no wierd details on the phone, and now I've looked into it - it unbeilevably seems to be legit. I have heard of craziness like randomers being invited to play on TV though.
Typically, and cruelly, this comes at a time I barely have two cents to rub together whilst I wait for wages/a massive tax rebate! It was a bit of a mindscrew last night I can tell you!
I had that call about two weeks ago; I got her off the phone quickly because I was busy by saying I was busy whenever the event she was talking about was taking place. Took me by surprise as I've never been rang before about any of my poker accounts.
Check out my YouTube channel! One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.
