I was playing some cash games again earlier (NL25) and after an hour I was up about $30. I'm just about to leave with a nice little profit but then on my last hand I get dealt AA. I raise pre-flop, donk reraises, I shove, donk calls. He has 45 offsuit and rivers a straight :fp:

I lose all of my profit plus a bit extra in that one hand because a donk decides to put over $30 in pre with 45 offsuit :|

Discussion time guys what do people think about Daniel Negreanu's play with his AA min raise with just the big blind to act in the ME?

I actually think it was a good play had it been against an better player as im guessing he was hoping to be re-raised or possibly just out play them post flop.

Hello lads :D

Thanks again to Rex, who helped me sign up to Celeb Poker :)

Back from today until the 9th/10th of September, and then from the 21st September onwards, for GRSOP reasons.

Other than that, I've really not wanted to play any poker :| I would have thought the big win would change my mind on that one. We'll see if I can get motivated later on! Nice to see how people are getting on here, some cool developments. Sat has the biggest roll now?

I don't think so. It was around $900 but I'm down to about $730 now. Hopefully I can build it back up fairly quickly though.

Hope to see you at the tables again :)

Edit: Here's an update on Boku who was turning $5 into $100k. After just 6 weeks he is up to $24,635 including bonuses

GRSOP

The buy in's available are (Excluding rake) $1, $3, $5, $10 and so on. Unfortunately Rebuys are not available so I was thinking along these lines.

$3 No Limit Hold Em Heads Up Shootout
$3 Pot Limit Omaha
$10 No Limit Hold Em Main Event (lol)

The tourneys can be set up easily so you guys just let me know when (Maybe make a weekend of it?) and if you want an event added or changed etc

Sounds pretty good. I'm away from the 12th-21st as I say (Denmark), but as long as the ME (lol) isn't there I'm happy.

That should be fine for me as well, I'd also be up for a cheap game of 7-card stud for a laugh.

Ooh, if anyone else wants a 7 Card Stud event I'll put it in nice and cheap. If numbers are too low we can just have it as a preliminary event prior to the real deal kicking off.

Go on do Stud.

I think we can rustle up somne non-poker players for the Main Event as a special event by making a new thread for it. Normal GR-ites won't come in here, bet we can find some fis.....I mean extra players!
