Just lost the 2.75$ tourney with A7 vs Q3, and then KJ vs J8. Both pre-flop :fp:

Basically the two other guys that went all-in had been going all-in nearly every hand. A few hands earlier I hit a set of 8's on the flop and one of them went all-in with K4 (no pair or nothing just K high) and runner runnered a flush. So here I was half thinking I might actually be ahead and half just pissed off and hoping to get lucky. As it turns out they had both flopped a flush and I did get lucky and runner runnered a full house

I only really played because I had a lot more chips than both of them and I didn't think either of them had a pair.

Yeah, I figure the majority of us have an account there and the buy-in should be good for all. I'm good for most the weekend, when is everybody else free?

Surely that's wrong? :? Surely people get excited when they've got a really good hand, and they're working out how much to bet/hoping they get called or even raised.... right?

He then goes on to talk about ESP.

To be fair it was written 30 years ago so it's no surprise the idea of tell's were not fully formed and accurate. As for the ESP thing, it's more of an intuition from seeing similar situations that subconciously reveals itself, not quite the paranormal that springs to mind.

I think Doyle's right with the pulse thing to be honest. Your pulse would start racing as well if you're telling a bare faced lie like bluffing so there is something in there.

I have witnessed it first hand a few times its strange because its hard to tell if its strength i.e a strong hand or weakness a bluff.

I agree that the pulse is an indication of bluffing and it works to my advantage since I seem to gooseberry fool myself when I hold the nuts and remain calm when bluffing.

Probs can play on pokerstars then. I'm also maybe just going back to Will Hill on ipoker. Had most success there. If anyone is interested I can still get you the 50% RB on ipoker with propaganda poker. Just msn me.

Yeah about that...

It might be better to leave it for a week or two. Not everyone can play at the same time and I did botch it by forgetting to get it sorted. Maybe next week.
