I am in for all events. Think you should add a 'six-max' event as well so half the events are Hold Em, then the other half are mixed games.

6-Max sounds good and I'm sure we won't struggle for entrants.

Event #1: $3 Heads Up No Limit Hold'em Shootout
Event #2: $3 8-Game
Event #3: $3 Seven Card Stud
Event #4: $3 No Limit Hold'em 6-Max
Event #5: $3 Pot Limit Omaha
Event #6: $10 No Limit Hold'em Main Event

Edit: As you were then...

Event #1: $3 Heads Up No Limit Hold'em Shootout
Event #2: $3 8-Game
Event #3: $3 Seven Card Stud
Event #4: $3 Pot Limit Omaha
Event #5: $10 No Limit Hold'em Main Event

Six-Max isn't an option when creating them. Heads up or Full ring only.

Just make it a normal NLHE game then, its okay to have a second alongside the 'Main Event' anyway I think.

I would play 8 game. It's worth playing TD on a play money table just so you can understand how the strawberry float it works.

Suggestion - make the first NLHE game 'The Caesars Cup' and split us into two teams - points going to the winning team.

What point does that fufil when we're not even going to get players into double figures? There's little point adding events for the sake of it.

I thought the idea of this series was for those of us in The Poker Thread to play few games together while allowing forumites who aren't regular posters in the thread to play. More events seems to only really helps those of us who consistently post in here as it'll just add onto the cost for those who aren't in here all the time.

I'm not against the idea of a team style game but it might be better suited to be running seperately with a few games over a month or so.

Well in that case we arent catering to that at all - we have only TWO Hold Em events out of five!! Hows that catering for everyone?

I think you need another NLHE event for sure.

I like that idea. Maybe do the old 4.40 180mans again on a Sunday but we get points based on our finish.

As for the GRSOP I'm short on money at the moment so will probably only play the NL Holdem events.

I agree, I don't like the idea of having a team event apart of GRSOP. Poker really is an indvidual game but people keep trying to shoehorn it into some kind of team game. I wouldn't be adverse to some kind of team event one day like they have the 180 comps on 2+2.

POTY is an individual race so having points won in a team event rather defeats the point somewhat.

I think a team game could be fun but it shouldn't be near the GRSOP. I don't know how we'd go about setting on up either, but for the moment, let's keep the discussion on the GRSOP.

IMPORTANT:

Are there any days of the week which people cannot play on a regular basis due to other commitments?

I'll only be playing a couple of events so don't change things for my behalf, but for info the best days for me are Saturday, Sunday evening, and Thursday Evening.

If I had the money I'd definitely play in it.

Not sure if I understood it right but if more than 100 people sign up for it then everyone who finishes outside the top 10 gets £150?

Also Drummy - I'd prefer playing on nights other than Tuesday and Friday for the GRSOP.

That Solent thing is a rebuy? loooooooooool. If I was rich maybe.
