No shoulds in poker Drummy, just chips and cards.

And for those of you who kindly answered my question earlier, the actual hand I was holding was...

33 lol

All fortunes seem to be on the up! My season two roll is going nicely - up from $50 to $90 in a matter of a few days with fairly little work :) Just playing much better poker atm.

EDIT - I ended up wasting my 10$T on 3 Sit and Goes, cashing in one (3rd) and donking out of 3, so I think my actual physical money roll is at $92, with my W$ being at $36. I'm looking forward to hopefully taking advantage of a few poor weekend players tomorrow, but will have two 1$ games before 3$ just to readjust after a couple of losses.

Doing a 90 man sit 'n' go - Aces are SO much fun when three people go all in pre-flop before you get to fully act!

Yay! After a massive losing streak I stopped playing for a bit but I had a dream last night that I want £50,000 in poker so I thought I'd give it a go again and I've won about 8$ in an hours worth of play. What's better is that I never really had any amazing hands - I was just able to judge when to bet and so made more when I had a good hand a lost less when I had a gooseberry fool one.

Ive got to leave the house in a bit, hence possibly the worst all in of all time! But still, I was th short stack and I would have been dead in a couple of hands anyways!

I'm just playing a $5 rebuy and I was UTG with AA. I raise a normal amount and four people reraise all-in.
My aces win against A6, AK, 88, and JJ 8-)

Edit: 3 hands later and I get AA again. Two people go all-in and I win the hand again (this time I was against J3 and 9T  )

Edit2: I finished in 54th place and won $43 (so about $32 profit). I was actually doing pretty well at that point but some guy with the same amount of chips as me went all-in after the flop. I had TT on a J high board and I assumed the all-in was an attempt at stealing the pot, but he had KJ.

So much work for such little reward. I was playing very nicely on a 3$ 18-man SnG and got down to the last 4 in 2nd place by quite a way. Anyway I play very nicely and then get AJo in the BB. SB calls, I raise and he goes all in. I figure he's just trying to stop me stealing so I call, and he flips over Q8. I lose that one to a Q. Minutes later, I call his all in with 33, he has K10 and spikes the K on the river, knocking me out in 4th. I think I probably deserved to win one of those races, at least...

Those are some weird ass tournaments DML. Is your bankroll sufficent to play these large MTT's?

Constant blinds of $5/$5 throughout the ENTIRE tournament, and the minimum bet is always $5.

The difference comes in that instead everyone has to pay an increasing ANTE instead, which goes up like the blinds would in a normal game, starting at $5 and going up and up. It means you'll see more flops.

I don't really like the idea of that tourney. For me, pre-flop is such an important part of the game, and it helps you decide exactly what the opponent has. If your priced into hands with junk and catch two pair, it's so hard to read...

I'm running 5/16 in a 90 man 2$ tourney atm. Just folded 66 to a raise pre-flop and the flop was 6A6 :p
