You bet when you were ahead and when he hit his hand on the river you didn't get any more money in so I think you did ok there. I think if I'm going to raise the flop then I would make it about 270, but really any raise should have made him fold as he had nothing, so you were just really unlucky that he decided to stick around and that the turn gave him some outs which he then hit on the river.

Cheers Sat my small bet was in the hope he had a weak A in the hope he gones on to re-raise or just call me all the way.

He was a pretty sloppy player to be honest and It was the type of hand on the turn i put him on after he called so it was a pretty easy fold had he bet.

IPoker Network $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players - View hand 292079
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

CO: $5.41
BTN: $7.71
Hero (SB): $10.65
BB: $10.20
UTG: $10.72
UTG+1: $1.87
UTG+2: $8.80
MP1: $10.20
MP2: $1.85

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with 9 :diamond: J :diamond:
6 folds, BTN raises to $0.40, Hero calls $0.35, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.90) 2 :club: 9 :club: J :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.90, BTN raises to $7.31,

Thoughts. History with guy. Currently playing 3 tables on to of them I am to the immediate right of him. Obviously flopping top 2 pair is why I play J9 suited no the problem is the shove. Obviously my donk bet may signal weakness and so he shoves to pick up the pot or that he's got a flush. Note the guy I think is slightly spackered.

I prefer a check raise as you'll get more value out of Ace high hands and allows you to represent a flush draw yourself which should get him stacking off with overpairs easier too.

Snap call. He has AA lol. Even if he has A of clubs you are flipping. What else are you scared of? Do you think he would ship a made flush? A set perhaps? I can't fold.

Oh and fold pre. Terrible OOP.

He also won a huge pot against me AI pre my Aks lost to his KQs due to the Q. He's pretty terrible anyway. Completes the SB then bets half pot 100% seemingly. Why not raise pre lol.

There is no 10 to make your straight and no flush with the one c in your hand.

You need to use 2 cards from your hand even with the 4 clubs on the board we have to replace one with your c and another of your cards.
