Nice. Dunno how expensive it would be to get up there from Soton though, will check now.

Played an absolutely insane hand in a cash game with mates last night and hit quad aces (beating quad sixes) and a royal flush in one hand! Possible, because my mate ran it twice.

I capped it with A-K of diamonds and got a call from 6-6. He decides to run it twice. First hand is awesome. The flop is 6-6-A, the turn is an A and the river is the final A! The second hand is nearly as good, if a little less dramatic. The flop was Q-10-J, all of diamonds, giving me the royal flush (for the first time ever). I am a complete luckbox.

Nice Phatman!

Clarky, for the GRSOP, yes, but some of us play on other sites.

I've been trying to grind out some tournament dollars today but haven't gotten amazing endgame results. Still, combined with my profitable shot at $50NL today, my bankroll is up to $1165/£725 :) If I can get to 1.5k by the end of the year then I'll probably move a lot over to Celeb Poker for the RB and iDonks at 50NL.

Yes we currently have the yearly GRSOP running which is a series of private tournaments only for people from GRcade. Other than that we sometimes all register for a 180-man tournament together or a random scheduled MTT.

If you play on stars then share your username and post in this thread if you are about to play a tournament and I'm sure someone will join you. Also take part in the GRSOP if you can, thread is here: http://www.grcade.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=21872

Ul Sat :( That's why I just take the odd shot at MTTs now, at least in cash a cooler/misplay is an isolated incident, and if it's a donk, you can get it back

Didn't play that hand very well but I had put almost half my stack in pre and so was comitted despite the horrible flop.

So Dusk Til Dawn was awesome 8-)

Walked through the door and Simon Trumper was there he's a cool cat

Spent most of my time drooling the female staff, who all happen to very good looking *droool*

Anyway the tourney started bad but avoided losing all my chips when I ran set into another set.

Doubled back to starting stack with AA vs QQ just before the 1st break.

Then got moved to the chip leaders table, he was a really good player making some great hero calls and always been spot on with his reads he had about 60k and average was about 14k.

Knocked a player out with AK vs K9 on a 9AK flop 8-)

Then got card dead, managed to win a nice pot with AA vs KJ later on all-in pre but then lost a big race against a loose player with AQ vs 66.

Overall I was very impressed and I should be on the website sometime soon as we all had pictures taken and had to sign a disclaimer with the press been there etc.

Cash tables I played some .50 - 1 and 1 -2 as the standard wasn't great won a few hundred quid so that made up for the tourney.
