Maybe Phil Helmuth actually is the greatest player of all time...

Lind, Seiver or Hellmuth for me. Seiver is going to be so dangerous now he's got some chips.

Just read that every all-in situation at the final table ended with the best hand when the chips went in winning. :o

I guess if luck wasn't involved Hellmuth would...finish second?!?!

He's still had an incredible series by anyone's standards. 2nd in the 10k 2-7 WC, 2nd in the 10k Stud8 WC and 2nd in the Poker Player's Championship. Perhaps Sykes has more in common with him than he thinks?

I was so rooting for him as well... When he had like 16m to Rast's 3m I thought it was as good as done. :(

Surely the whole "he can only play Hold'em" argument is no longer valid.

Has another good session at the cash tables today, up $64. That's two winning days in a row, must be a new record for me.

Looking at me results in HEM it appears at one point this week I was down $296 but my roll was only $400 so nearly went broke :fp: However, since then I've started to play properly and win most of it back:

All in EV line?

That's really only about 2 days worth of 4 tabling though really. Pretty small sample. You playing a bit of everything at the moment? :P

Will take some of Zinger's action.

Just got knocked out of the Package Qualifier, got 1 more chance left. Otherwise it's onto trying qualify to UKIPT Edinburgh.

EV is pretty similar, but I haven't been getting it all-in much before the river, I think overall I'm actually about $10 above EV. I've only been 2-tabling and just for an hour or two a day, but been sticking with 25NL. I was playing lots of HU last month but I think I ended up break even in the end, so 6-max cash is my new thing (until I start losing and go back to MTTs).

Not until ESPN start airing the WSOP next month AFAIK. I heard on this week's final table podcast that the featured tables will be streamed online from day 3 onwards though.

Nice. :D

I've decided my challenge for the month is to stick with 25NL and try to put enough volume in to reach Goldstar. If I start 4-tabling it shouldn't be too hard, I just need to play about 17,000 more hands.
