I used my timebank as to call it was a sizeable chunk of my stack to call. I had a quick look back and saw he'd called off half of his stack with A2hh and decided I was good to go.

According to PokerStars, Rex lives in... a certain somewhere, but from what I remember of the most recent meet up, he lives... a certain somewhere else. How am I supposed to track him down and make babies with him?

I've been knocked off the top spot of the pub poker league . Hopefully still going to make the Regionals, but I could really do with a good result on Sunday. I just need to remember to play them like a turbo game as I always seem to end up with a dangerously low chip count facing dangerously high blinds. If you get dealt rubbish all night, what can you do?

Is that serious advice? Hmm. I'm not sure about ATC. What kind of BB count should I be doing this with?

I had another shot at the cash tables just now and once again I leave with a big loss

I was just playing 10NL on Full Tilt and as soon as I sit down I end up getting it all-in against a donk with AK v 9T and obviously 9T wins. Then the same donk continues to limp every hand and call any raise (his stats were 90/0), so I figure it should be easy enough to take all of his money. It turns out the the two times I get good hands he just happens to have AA . And then another hand I have TT and the flop is JT8 but he runner runners a flush with his 58s :fp:

Then he leaves before I can win it back.

Edit: I'm getting so much run bad today  I was doing really well in a tournament until my AA<KK cutting my stack in half and then shortly after I get KK and run into AA to knock me out.
In another tournament I am also doing very well until AQ<A5 but I didn't get completely knocked out of that, just struggling a bit now. I'm also hanging on in the daily 80k but I'm at a very agressive table so need to hope I get good cards soon.

I think this hand makes up for all my run bad:

I shoved pre-flop from the SB and ran into the BB's queens then seeing another queen on the flop made me think it was all over. Along comes a 6 on the turn to give me 1 out on the river and I made it

I can't really see a way you could have got away from that TBH- cooler all over it. The old two pair vs set is bad enough, but for the two pair to go ahead, well....

I would have had him on a set as well, your hand is so well hidden, it just sucks that he has it. It would be an amazing fold considering the raise he makes on the river in stack sizes is very large, he could be doing it with quite a large range there.
